Hostgator down issues - alternatives?

Hello,

I'm pretty much getting sick of HostGator and it's downtime.

I have approx. 30+ domains and right now the average loading time is ~20 sec.

This is ridiculous.

No help from support site either.. All they said me: "Your site is not down. It loads".

When I answer, yeah it loads ~20secs, then the support guy went afk or whatever for 20 minutes and after that said "There's nothing wrong in our side".

And continued: "Try to optimize your page. It definitely helps" .. and then s/he showed me some pingdom or whatever chart saying that it took 36,78 seconds to load the page... Yeah, I'll optimize my page.. 37,8 seconds are most likely a WP issue. This is a joke.

What the heck? I'm loosing money, I might be loosing my Google rankings due to fact that my site F()#/¤/# slow.

Ok, back to the topic. What are the best alternatives for hostgator? Probably going to leave hostgator (EIG) tonight.

Lots of worried people about hostgator here today
As I said in other posts: I use MDDHosting and they are great (support and platform).

    Hope it helps.

I left Hostgator years ago for the same reason, they over sell their servers. Your best bet is to get VPS or atleast a reseller account.
