Making 2800$ this month!

Hey Warriors,

Me and my friend are in a shitty situation. I'll copy paste a part of what my friend send me.

As you probably know, I'm in a shitty situation. I'm living on my own, with no money, and no job. I need at bare minimum about $1400 within a month in order to pay for summer school, which i need because i failed two classes. I also need about $15000 by September in order to pay for school next year. I need this to work. Going to my parents for extra cash is unacceptable, as they pretty much more or less disowned me after I left.

My situation:

I've got to finish my high-school exams in this month of May, and then in the months June/July/August I'll have to make at least 3000$ for my sabbatical too Australia.

I may not be in such a desperate situation as my friend, but what are his troubles are mine. If he needs 15000$, I need it. Because I can't stand him being broke after two months of FULL EFFORT. We've been working our ASS OFF.

We've been going at SEO Internet Marketing for over 2 months, without ANY sale. We've made 0$ online yet. We are clearly not doing it right.

Now we need YOU to tell us how we can make 2800$ before the 31th of May. Our second goal will be making 30.000$ before the end of August.

I'll give you a brief introduction in our ''method''.

We have set up an SEO/WordPress blog at the address of www . livedatingsupport . com

We've put up about 15 articles, put up advertisements of Clickbank/Other affiliate programs, we've been doing backlinking for two full days (only too see about 10 backlinks!). We haven't made a single sale yet, although we put up quite a few valuable articles.

Then we have our site with landing page:
www . how-to-get-a-sexy-girlfriend . com

We are going to use this to promote an ebook I'm still in the process of making. This ebook is going to be a combination of awesome pick-up stories, broken down by me and my friend to show all the guys out there a method to get a girlfriend.

Basicly:
The SEO blog ain't making money, with about 300 visitors so far.
The site ain't making money, with about 10 visitors so far.
The ebook ain't ready.

Now I know we need more traffic. We need more backlinks. But is that REALLY going to make us 2800$ before the end of this month?

And if so..how EXACTLY are we supposed to do it. I mean, I've spend countless days reading guides on backlinking, article marketing, etc. without result.

Please, show us the way and we will walk it.

Sincerely,
Collatio

PS: We're not asking for an ''IF'' but for a ''HOW''.

It is very unlikely that you will go from a standing start to 3k in 30 days in the dating niche unless you do some PPC (and prepared to lose a chunk of money if you have not got a polished offer and great landing page). I don't want to shoot your dreams down (its great that you have shown some motivation to achieve what you want), but you selected a difficult niche to start off with. I just put "dating" into market samuri and to get ont the front page of google for that keyword, you would need a PR5 to 6 minimum site (not to mention a domain age of 10 years) and thousands and thousands of backlinks.

    So tip 1. Aim lower.

I also read your request above. So tip 2. Learn copywriting. Everything is about the person you are making the offer to. Whats in it for me? I did not mean for you to PM message me and tell you what you can do for me ... I mean that if you are making an offer whether it be a sales pitch or a warrior forum, forget about what YOU want and think about the actual person reading.

If you still want to persist and have to go for it in this niche, buying traffic is the only way. At the end of the day the equation is simple - traffic x conversion. You need a wave of traffic fast.

Alright. We're targetting a specific niche market. I find it hard to let this niche go though before we're making money. I don't want us to go from project to project, without making any money in the end.

Alright thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to think about what the readers want and how I can give it too them.

We don't have the money too buy a lot of traffic though. I have 150€ in savings left that I could spend on it, but I want to make absolutely 100% sure it fits in our gameplan.

Thanks..this is one step further to getting there.

I don't really feel sorry for your friend. Summer school because he failed two classes? And he wants to return to school next year? Maybe instead of begging for help he needs to just grow up and take care of his own problems, including studying a little harder if he somehow manages to weasel his way into another year.

If you think you've worked hard for two months, I fail to see what on. Your site is barely the work of a day or two.

Fifteen short entries is hardly the stuff of effort.

Read the thread about the guy who made a blog that made $20 a day in 90 days. He wrote, or had written, hundreds of articles.

There is very little about your blog that tempts the reader in. I agree with previous comments that you need to spend some time learning to write copy.

Affiliate marketing is not hard - but neither is it as easy as someone seems to have told you. It is a numbers game. You need big numbers, lots of visitors and a hook to make them want to both come back frequently and to trust you enough to buy your recommendations.

Right now you don't have any of those things. You don't even have any way of attracting them in in the first place.

I don't personally like the tone of the language you are using, but I'm not a student, so perhaps your market will be more accepting of crudity. In any case, throwing in a few swear words or smutty references is nowhere near enough to make your posts readable.

What do students actually want to read?

How about some real life stories? How about aiming for some contraversial topics?

And where is the hook? You have no opt in, you offer nothing in return for your readers' time. A special report that they can have for free (in exchange for their email address) would do wonders. A whole series of free reports that students would find useful (not necessarily about dating) could even have the effect of getting a viral buzz going.

And in all honesty, a viral buzz is the only real hope you have of getting traffic as the dating niche is way too competitive for your current skill level.

As for making $2800 in 25 days, it isn't going to happen. You are in too tough a market and have too few skills to make it work right now. But with a lot of rethinking and a lot more work there is no reason why you shouldn't make some money from this site.

Just stop thinking like you think an affilaite marketer would think, and start putting yourself into the mind of the people you want to read your site and buy your recommendations. In other words, think like yourselves.

You've been poorly advised so far, but it isn't too late to get onto the right track.

In this economy and in real life - for everyone - there are some hard truths.

You don't always get what you want....you may need to change how you live.....you may not be able to pay for what you think you need....you may not be able to keep what you have.

We've put up about 15 articles, put up advertisements of Clickbank/Other affiliate programs, we've been doing backlinking for two full days (only too see about 10 backlinks!). We haven't made a single sale yet, although we put up quite a few valuable articles.
        Don't overwork yourself.

You are dedicated to your "niche" which is "get sexy girls"? Is that why your friend wants money to retake courses he failed?

You might both benefit from time spent living in the real world before getting a higher education. You might gain perspective on the value of knowledge - and family.

mate, no offence like but how many hours you really put into this?
i've been online for just over 2 weeks on here , i already i'm making $500 on my site within 2 weeks, i know i'm in a completely different niche to you but i'm in alot more competitive niche (web hosting )

i've wrote over 60 articles on web hosting in this time and submitted them to 500 article sites and bookmarking , directory submissions, social networking groups, i've done a hell of alot of marketing to my site in just under 2 weeks ,

i think you're really in the wrong niche i don't really see why people would buy how to get a girlfriend my advice socialise! try a new niche and really put some hard work into it! the harder you work the more awards you recieve

if your that in much trouble! i'd be working 24 hours a day until i met my goal! i'd be changing and chopping niche trying every marketing method i could imagine! best of all , all my marketing methods i've used has cost me nothing

Thanks for all the critics and feedback, I see now we've been doing the wrong stuff all along. I've even approached my WF posts in the wrong mindset.

We've been putting hours of work studying, reading, doing useless things.

I appreciate the putback, because it makes me realize we've found our first ''failure'' and that means we are on our way to success.

What I'm pondering about now is if I should start a new campaign in a different campaign or adjust the site(s) we have now.

As this niche is apparently one of the most competitive out there, for a newbie like myself, would it be best to put this idea in the fridge for a while and start off with new campaign?

Whatever of the two we're going for, I'll be using the following gameplan:
            1. Submit 10-20 articles to ezinearticles and link to your review page.

            2. Submit your page to as many directories as you can.

            3. Use web 2.0 sites like: Squidoo, Wetpaint, Wordpress.com, Facebook Pages (not profiles), Quizilla Journal Pages, pbwiki, Zimbo, Swicki, Faves, Clearblogs, Kaboodle, Buzzle, Wikidot, Mashable, Blogger

            4. Submit RSS feeds to RSS directories: Feedage, Feedraider, Feedfury, RssMicro, Feedagg...

            5. Comment on high pr dofollow blogs, answer yahoo answers.

            6. Use web 2.0 sites to bookmark all of the sites you've created. Sites like: Digg, Furl, Backflip, Bibsonomy, Mister-wong, Spurl, Jumptags, Propeller

            7. Contact other high pr site owners and get good anchor texted links like "homemade water filter".

Well this is going to be tough. You could try to ewhore, but that is not whitehat and unless you are already in a CPA network then its going to be tough in this time frame. I'm not going to get into exactly what this method is as I don't do it nor endorse it, but I do know people who make money with it. Use google you may find something on it.

If you were prepared to drop the internet marketing idea and just go for a more providing a service approach for other people then it is easily achievable.

The easiest service would be article writing at around $5 to $10 an article and writing an article every 30 minutes you can make $10 to $20 an hour which aint bad. Then of course you will learn to get quicker and quicker and can earn alot more (writing an article every 10 to 15 minutes is easily achievable).

So if you spent just 3 hours a day for the next 25 days then you would have $1125 if you earnt about $15 an hour. Do more hours and there is your money.

You can sell articles here and/or over at digitalpoint.

Then once you are financially stable you can look further and see about doing more affiliate/internet marketing as such but this would mean you could relax a little bit.

      Hey Tom,

That's quite an interesting suggestion. Thank you very much.

What kind of articles do you suggest writing? How can I find out what kind of articles people would want to buy from me? I'd be very willing to do some freelancing to get this money in the next 25 days.

      Sincerely,

Well there are two approaches you can take...

One is more risky than the other and requires pre-investment however it can mean you make alot more. It's called creating PLR material.

PLR basicly means you make a package of articles for one niche based around keyphrases or sometimes not and then just sell a set number of copies. The most recent package to be available has been on swine flu.

However you would need to pay the $20 fee here to list it or really hope you make enough to re-coup your time costs however selling 25 packs at $20 a pack for 20 articles would mean you made alot of money for your time.

I would suggest however that for now you stick to finding people who need articles written (sales thread here and/or on digitalpoint) and wait and actively search for people who need articles written and they provide you with the niche and main idea as well as keyphrase.

You will eventually get longterm clients who will be asking for articles from you consistently as long as you provide good quality articles in good time and also for a good price.

The prices for articles here are generally higher than digitalpoint but also the quality here is generally alot higher too but both places will give you business.

        Anything else just ask

If you're big in the woman getting thing you could always gather up a few rich yet not social savvy dudes who have this problem, throw together a $2000 per person training and pretty much have all the cash you need. Easy as pie, except you need to have the info which may be the sticking point...

By the way, this market is really huge and people are PAYING for this type of advice so if you're in to the idea, might as well stick with it.

You could expand on your "theme" - but you don't have much theme.
You have ONE page as a landing page - any other sites/blogs/pages I'm missing?

The niche eliminates women from your market; the photo may eliminate some men interested in the beginning text about "more than friends". Smarter would be to use the "friends to lovers" not as a macho guy thing but approached from both male and female perspective. Women have valued "friends with benefits" for a long time

Do sexy girls like guys with no money who failed out of school? I'm doing it wrong!

Seriously, you're getting a good reality check in this thread. Making money is about exchanging value for value. If you have a valuable offer then the next step is getting prospects to your page. Traffic takes time, work, money, effort, etc.

PPC is the quickest way to drive traffic fast and effectively but the dating market is perhaps one of the most competitive markets around.

Your post reads like probably 500 others ones here, and most get the same advice: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-new-read.html

You CAN make that amount of money quickly, but starting from 0 it's going to take some hard work and inventiveness.

There are people who can create what you did times 100 in an afternoon.

And to top it all off, you have a link to a site that "The Way to Learn How to Make Money Online" in your sig.

Maybe your own site can help you then?

Making $2800 does not have to be difficult. (I have not read your page... but here's my initial thoughts.)

First.. announce a "FREE" teleseminar: Pass 1000 flyers around campus, Advertise in the school newspaper, make announcements, etc... Blog about it, twitter about it, get all your close friends in on it.

Then get 3 to 5 of your best girls on the teleseminar call to start. Remember, the best dates/girlfriends/etc... aren't always supermodel types.. Some guys like girls with amazing attitudes, features, etc... You never know what a guy is going to like.

On the free Teleseminar that anybody can join for free just by dialing in from their cell phone.... mention a few "PRIVATE" pages where you have some classy pages with pics of these girls.. or maybe their voices and personalities are enough. (Be sure you get a recording of this so you can do it again!) But hopefully the pics online will get them onto their computers... it's always easier to sell if someone is already at a computer. You can also get GotoMeeting for about $99/mo.

Then get them on to talk about the first time they met you and others.. their most memorable moment in the last few years, ask them about their likes and dislikes, biggest turn ons, and biggest turn offs... and get your audience really interested in how these girls found You, Guy X, and Guy Y so interesting that they just couldn't say no to going out with them.

Then... hang up with the girls... and go into a few secrets about what girls are really looking for. Talk about the MYTHS that guys have about girls, and some of the MYTHS that girls have about guys. Explain about how even though the girls said they were looking for X... what they're really looking for is Y.

Then go into your "GUIDE to Romance.." etc.. whatever you call it. Don't talk about it as a product... talk about how you've come up with this guide that you live by... something that you use every day in your dating interactions... and how what guys can expect over the next X number of days as they practice and learn about what girls really want and need in them.

Then.... you've got to put up a hook... get them to a page... and tell them that only 100 guys on your campus will get a completely confidential copy of this insider's guide to dating.

Talk about how it's only $7 for a trial subscription. After 7 days it's only $12 a month.

With the subscription they get access to 3 of your gurus who while help guide them through a private members only forum. The subscribers can ask questions confidentially and get honest answers from your gurus and their peers.

    100 trials at $7 = $700
    100 subscriptions at $12.95 = $1295 per month.
In 3 months you have $4585. (Less Clickbank fees.)
