I have written many articles for a popular clickbank product directing readers to the affiliate page (not mine) through my hoplink. My question is what happens to them there? If they sign up for the autoresponder there do I lose the sale? Reason I'm asking is because according to my clickbank account I have sent over 300 people to that site and have received no sales. Seems fishy to me. My fault for not directing to my presell page first I guess, but lots of advice I get on article marketing says to redirect directly to an offer. I know its a high converting offer/page too. Thanks

Brian, if they clicked on your affiliate link, and then, register to the vendor's list and buy, you should be credited for the sale... except if there is a "flaw" in the system.

Example: You send the prospect (lead) to the merchant, and in the newsletter, the prospect can buy by calling, or can buy with paypal or another payment processor.

In the case above, you lose the commission.

Antother way to lose the commission is if the vendor overwrite your cookie with another.

Some vendors does it, and the only way to know is to register to the newsletter and check this yourself.

    All the best,

    Franck

I suggest you try to build you own list. Make a little quick capture page then when they give you their name and email...they get directed to the sales page.

Now you will have your own list and continue to keep in contact with them.
