There are many marketers on here, who I respect extremely high - however if I was to pick one person, it would have to be Steve Wagenheim.

Interesting. He was definitely a familiar face when I came here recently (he must've been on dp, seochat, not sure where though?). I've always taken his posts to heart as well.

You can add Paul Myers' name to the list. Along with Willie Crawford. Paul Hancox in his bailiwick. John Reese and Marlon Sanders have been spotted occasionally.

I feel like one of those celebs at an awards show, going blank from trying not to slight or forget anyone...

The list of people here who know their stuff would choke a horse the size
      of Texas.

At the risk of leaving somebody out (my apologies in advance)...here is
my short list of the top minds here.

My apologies for any misspellings too.

      Allan Says (the owner)
      Andy Henry
      John Taylor
      Paul Myers
      Eric Louviere
      Dean Shainin
      Judy Kettenhoffen
      Willie Crawford
      Ron Douglas
      Allan Graves
      Chris Rempel
      John Ritz
      George Sepich

And if I had a clearer head today, I'd probably come up with about 20
      more names minimum.

There is so much incredible information in this forum shared by these
people and others that if you wanted to spend the time to go through
it all, you could probably (with the right discipline) find a business plan
without having to spend one dime on informational materials.

What Andy Henry has shared in regard to traffic generation and knowing
where to tap for stuff alone is worth at least a collection of ebooks that
you'd probably have to spend hundreds of dollars on.

That's why anybody who says that they can't find something of value
      here is simply not looking.

One's I have noticed that I would take their word as gold are:

    Willie Crawford
    Paul Myers
    John Taylor
    Andy Henry
    Steven Wagenheim
    Ron Douglas

    Up-n-Coming Stars:

    JayXtreme
    Jeremy Kelsall
    Jared Alberghini

I like that they all over deliver, call-em as they see-em, and are not "clickish"

OMG, how could I forget my friend Kevin Riley.

Let me tell you something about Kevin's products. Talk about well thought
      out and excellently presented.

I don't promote a lot of affiliate stuff in the IM niche, mostly outside but
Kevin's book on making videos (must read) is one of the few I do promote.

Anybody who hasn't tapped into the power of video marketing has got to
      get this...period.

Kevin, sorry I forgot about one of my favorite people here.

Oh, and he's is just the nicest and easiest going guy. I remember the one
conversation that I had with him over Skype. We were talking about MLM
of all things. It was one of the most enjoyable conversations I'd ever had
      with anybody.

You won't meet a nicer guy than Kevin.

And a sense of humor? He'll have you in stitches after just a few minutes.

Anyway, sorry for rambling on like this. Kevin's just tops in my book.

On my short time here, Steven Wagenheim's name is one that keeps cropping up. The others I don't know that well yet.

But there was a comment Steve made in a thread on here, which is exactly where I want to be - to work just on hour a day and the rest of the time to enjoy my life and family.

I haven't figured out how to do that yet, but I know all the information is on this forum somewhere.

Kevin, I'm going to guess that he was a computer programmer before he
        became an Internet marketer.

I don't think honestly there is enough room to list them. There are quite a few people here that are the creme of the crop, and are well known, while I believe there are just as many working in the background that do as well if not better than those out front in the lime light.

But here's my attempted list...and apoligies beforehand for those I forget

    Allen Says
    Steven W.
    Allen Graves
    Tim Gorman
    Kevin Riley
    Paul Myers
    Travis Sago

People like Mike Merz and Jim Lillig are real authorities.
I don't know Jim Lillig, but I would agree 100% on Mike Merz. He knows his field very well, and he gets things done. Not to mention that he's a class act.

I also agree on post count. Means exactly nothing, other than how much a person types.

As an aside, I've started looking at some of your stuff recently. For new to intermediate/semi-advanced marketers, I'm really surprised that no-one has mentioned you yet. That video on setting up split tests is worth a fortune for people who haven't figured out yet that it's not rocket science, or how much of a difference it can make.

For those who haven't seen it, check it out: http://www.internetmarketingspeed.com/report/v/sst/

The audio is way low for me, but that may be because I'm on the other side of the world. It's worth making the effort to hear it, for those who don't grok testing yet.

    Hi,

I have to thank Travis Sago for showing me the IM light. I loved his easy to understand bum marketing course and his emails are friendly and not overly promotional. However I don't know if he is a regular member on this site.

There are so many helpful warriors here, all good in their own way.
