Warriors > JVzoo & s2member/WarriorPress & Custom Integration

Hello Warriors!

My team and I have been struggling the last few days to get something done. I need some advice on the following thing and it would greatly appreciated if you could chime in!

Basically, my team and I are going to launch a product that involves software, and a membership back-end. We've chosen to go with JVzoo on this one.

The software has a custom integration on our server, so that on purchase via JVzoo. the receipt number, name and email are sent to the customer. The customer then needs to fill out the details after installing the software to connect the software to their hardware-ID. Now, we got the IPN files to just that.

We are now building the whole membership back-end with Optimize Press, but this wonderful theme doesn't allow us to protect the the membership modules.

This means we need a third party plugin, and we are left with two options basically... s2member or WarriorPress. Now both seem to be able to integrate well with JVzoo, or WSOpro for that matter.

But one niggling issue arises.... how do my team and I make sure that on the clients purchase... they both get the software details and membership back-end details. We need to - somehow - combine both IPN files or something? I really think this is an easy solution, but we just can't seem to get our heads around it.

Help will be appreciated, and praised into the heavens!

Steven

PS. Side note, does the OptimizePress support WarriorPress? I saw that OP can be integrated with s2member, though I am not sure if it could be done with WarriorPress

I've just started researching this myself. Apparently jvzoo and s2member will work together. However, the information on the s2member site says to contact jvzoo to figure it out.

That was about as far as I got with it.

I am thinking about upgrading to Wishlist, but I haven't looked into jvzoo integration with that.

I'd love to know how you work it out.

Yeah there's little information available on this topic. Well, I think working the integration out isn't really a problem. But I need to know how we forward: receiptnumber, customername, and customer email to both s2member/WarriorPress and our custom database that has to do with our hardware ID locking.

Individually they work great. But we need to combine them somehow, so that JVzoo's IPN sends information to both databases.

Perhaps I'd be better of with contacting JVzoo first. Any help would still be appreciated.

    Have you looked into Instamember?

It's a newer plugin just released a few weeks ago. I haven't used it for any of the software licensing features, but I know it offers them. Not sure if the other plugins do that?

    It's also compatible with JVZoo.

It'd be worth looking into if you haven't already.

    Thanks for your reply.

The thing is that we are almost done.

So we basically need some script to forward: Receipt Number, Customer Name, Customer Email to both our membership back-end, and software licensing system.

Perhaps we need to alter existing IPN PHPs so that it distributes them to both.

Your IPN "listener" can easily push the information you're talking about to as many systems as you'd like. Its just a matter of your programmer knowing what they're doing.

If you're using PHP then cURL would be your best bet...

    Hey Steven,

I'm not 100% sure on this one, but I think you can accomplish this with a combination of DAP and the IPN Redirect plugin from the DAP folks. Check it out here:

People seem to set up their offers and JVZoo badly all the time as I know from buying things on there but S2Member can do all you asked for and more. I even have mine set so it can post registrations to CPA email submits, with permission gained from my TOS of course.

I'm working on integrating JVZoo and S2member. In my test transaction, in JVZoo, I click on "access your purchase" and nothing happens. I expected that the Paypal IPN info would get sent to S2member at that point and S2member would send and email to the buyer with info about how to register, etc.

Can anyone shed any light on how to move forward?
