My Goal: 3 Sales/Day - What's Yours & How Can I Help You?

I've got an aggressive goal; I want to make 3 sales per day of my fitness product by September 1st. It's geared towards guys that want to get lean and build muscle.

I want results that I can test and track, so I'm sending cold, paid traffic to a squeeze page. I'll then send them an autoresponder sequence and see how many of them convert into sales.

I've tested traffic to a presell page, which links to my sales letter. Now I'm testing traffic to a squeeze page and then will try to make sales via my autoresponder.

We'll see if I can hit my goal. It'll depend on 3 things:

1). my optin rate
2). how good of a relationship I build with my list
3). how good (relevant, credible, helpful) my copy is, both in my autoresponder sequence and my sales page

So what's your goal and how can I help you achieve it?

    Hi
Sounds tough, I've heard the emails you send to your list is a VERY big dependent on how high your conversion rate will be. I wish you the best of luck!

My goal for this week is to find an 'easy' (for a beginner) niche to go into and get a good capture page up with a decent theme.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

      Luke,

What niche are you in? What traffic methods are you using? Are you promoting your own product or someone else's as an affiliate?

I'd be happy to help you once I know the answers to those questions.

      Best,
      Raza

By the way... I like the fitness industry because it's relevant to a lot of people.

You can target a specific niche within fitness like muscle building for: students/busy executives/working parents/etc or weight loss for moms/college kids/etc.

I would stay away from "make money" niches personally until you've made money online... just my opinion though.

But let me ask you, do you have any specialized knowledge about a specific topic that you could write about e.g. video games, virus removal, fitness, meditation, sales, etc?

That should help you find a niche.

HustlinSmoke, I like the way you think. That's why I'm starting with a small, but challenging goal and giving myself a realistic timeframe.

Now I'm testing and tracking EVERYTHING from traffic sources to landing pages to email messages.

My advice: use a notebook and document EVERYTHING you do everyday. That will help you keep up the motivation because rather than looking at your failures, you can see what you tried, what didn't work, what did work, and what did work so you can focus on that.

That is a super important tip... please buy a notebook and document everything you do. It'll make you focused and prevent you from getting demotivated.

          Hi Razza
as someone else said 3 sales a day is quite an ask by September with a new site and product but I suppose it depends on many factors such as the amount of paid traffic you send there, what the quality of the traffic is and how targeted it is.

My personal goal is to sell 5 whiteboard Videos a week by October. I am of the mind that its the people that sell the picks and shovels that generally make the money in the long term not the gold diggers- aka Mike Fislaine (never sure how to spell his name) who now sells tools such as software etc.

Good luck with your goal and keep us updated.
          Cheers
          Mark

I'm thinking about going into garden shed building.
I would probably start off with solo ads and forum advertising.
And I would be selling someone else's product as an affiliate.

        Thanks!

I think your goal is perfect. Your not saying sell 100 a day and get rich.
My goals are a little more modest though and I start with just one sale. Then my new goal is two sales, while my overall goal is to be number one in the serps.

I know this doesnt pertain to you but I like to put it out there when I can.

If I told you I would give you 2,000 dollars a day for 30 days or you could choose
1 penny a day doubled each day for 30 days.

Which would you take, the sixty thousand or the pennys.

Think about it. So if I could sell one penny product per week not day and double that each week. In 30 weeks I would have 10,000,000 dollars.

I learned myself spanish, so I wanted to do something in that industry but I got told it was way too competitive for a beginner.

The Spanish industry is so untapped and one of the countries where English is not so prevalent. We have a lot of great Spanish marketers and very few promoting to the Spanish speaking country of Mexico.

I wish I had the knowledge without having to learn Spanish to tap that market.

I've been marketing online for over seven years, and initially I have had much success through affiliate marketing, seo, ppc, listbuilding, and by selling my own products. Unfortunately, I lost swing of things around two years ago, and am now getting back into the online arena. On a good note, my experinence thus far, has made it easier to return to online marketing, without distractions or second thoughts.

As such, my goal for the rest of the year is to set up multiple revenue streams for 2013. This will be done by running my own copywriting services, getting back into list building by creating an attractive new lead funnel system, and then launching a membership program, and a product launch this year. The motivation is here, now I just need to be discipline, consistence, and organized. I can say, it feels good to be back to working on the internet though. It is really empowering when one is able to earn an income through their own efforts, without having to depend on others for their paycheck.
