Twitter tool works like an autoresponder

Well, it should but I can't get it to work. I'm talking about Hootsuite and its ability to send tweets at your desired schedule time. Anyone used it before?

You can even use it to monetize from Twitter, by including your adsense in the link in your tweets. They're currently having issues with the adsense integration though. But it's something worth looking into once it's been fixed.

I think they are still working out the bugs in Hootsuite.
There are other Twitter related programs out there that will make your marketing efforts go viral.

Instead of Tweeting at a certain time why not give your followers the tool so they can Tweet for you anytime?

twitter has become a big IM tool, i am just wondering, if it was part of the plan when they started out.or it just became an outcome of the increasing demand of people to use every possible way to market their product,

Twitter is a cool and nice community if everyone knows not to over post affiliate links.. mostly i get alot of good information links.

I totally agree! We have something like that going on here: Internet Marketer Magazine - For Internet Marketers, By Internet Marketers where you could get over $200 just for sending 1 tweet.

To automate my tweets (sending them at scheduled desired time) I use TweetLater.com. It is a great tool not only for tweets but for Direct messages, too, although I am not sure how can be monetized (probably have to look at that).

just curious if anyone is willing to share REAL data....

what types of response are you really seeing in response to your tweets? For example:

*what is the conversion rate from an individual tweet?
*or for your twitter followers (as a whole)?
* how does this conversion rate compare to your email list conversion rate?
*how does this compare to your AdWords or other PPC conversion rate?

You're asking for conversion rates on something that can't really be measured in that way. This is SOCIAL media. It's a social engagement and there's no telling if anyone wil forward your message along or not.

I mean you go to a party, introduce yourself to people. Some of them will ask what you do, others wont. Now some of the ones who know what you do might refer you to others at the party or beyond but there's no way to tell who, when or if that will happen.

If I say 3% of my Tweets are clicked by my followers, what does that mean? I can't track if it was from my tweet or retweets or how many people clicked from the retweets.

See what I mean.

It's all how you interact with people.

It's social.

I've been a TweetLater user for a long time. It works.

The click throughs on Tweets are very low. The key is a lot of followers. Most marketers are an order of magnitude off of where they need to be.

TweetLater.com is a must. There are other services that do the same thing but TweetLater has a premium package that makes it even better.

Also, check out MrTweet That's a good one too.

The best thing is to get followers in your niche. That way you know they are interested in what you or your brand has to say.
