Creating Bonus packages for Affiliate Launches

Have been wondering, as an affiliate of a product, how do they come up with such packages? I mean unless they have years of experience as a seller and so a handful or more of their own related products to give away as bonuses. Though if you're only an affiliate how do you put one together that's good?

I know there are PLR products and some affiliates use those, though really if you want to compete with the affiliates giving away their own products you need much higher quality.

Also, have you noticed significant increases in conversions when offering bonus packages than when not? For my own somewhat small lists, I haven't. Everytime I have offered bonuses (usually ones given from JV pages), there has never been any increase in conversions and sometimes maybe even less than when I don't offer anything. So I had stopped ever trying to add bonuses. Maybe I just need the right ones or types of bonuses.

    It's all about the quality of your bonus.

    I think it's best used when your list knows that you can really help them save time learning the software or getting advanced techniques about the method and then sharing it with them.

    For example, if you offered a webinar as bonus and inside that webinar you went over the report and taught something better than what was in the report, people would be more likely to buy through your bonus next time. If it were software and you shared how to easily set it up and get it working, people might be more likely to buy from you if they're on your list and haven't seen better bonuses.

    I see bonuses used in Launch Jacking a lot and they usually give away large amounts of PLR and that method does work well IF you can present a better offer than the next marketer. I've bought through pages like that several times to get the bonuses.

    But if you're looking to do it for your list, think more of how you can create a bonus product only for them that would help them even more than the product alone.

      Thanks. That's good advice. Basically then when it's something you know well and have studied or have experience with. Not all products you're able to get an advance copy of or review copy. It would help a lot.

      As for plr, I don't know where to find any high 'quality' plr. All the sources I know of plr products are super low quality inexpensive stuff usually.

    You need the right bonuses
    the right traffic source,
    the right price
    the right products' quality

    you can offer an audio version of an ebook, of a membership course, or a video course on your product even as bonuses, which all work well.
