This is so odd. You call yourself "viral writer", but you seem to not understand the power of "viral marketing".

You even to promise to teach us "how we can make our blogs go viral" in your signature, but you don't even know if it is really possible.

You don't need a ton of followers of your own, but you need a few followers who will see your content and share it with others.

As others share your content, you will grown your own list of followers, by the very nature that you are publishing stuff they want to see.

Social media can work extraordinarily well at delivering tons of traffic to your site, BUT ONLY IF you have created content that people like and want to share -- i.e. viral content.

It works great for short term, as soon as you post you will get s small rush of 10-20 people, if it is really good it will get more and more but if it is just another page it will die pretty fast and you might get a person in a day or two.

Darren Rowse was not an amateur/novice when he started ProBlogger.

He started his first blog in 2002, then created several more in a short time. 2.5 years later, in November of 2004, he started his blog ProBlogger.

The point is that he was actually earning money from blogging, BEFORE he started ProBlogger and started teaching others how to be successful with their blogs.

The difference between what he did and what you are doing is that he learned what needed done through the school of hard knocks, before he dared to try to teach others how to be successful in the way that he was.

Thanks for the tip, I had to use problogger as an example, you should understand what I'm trying to say. There are many bloggers that were previously in my shoes but are now successful

I do understand what you are trying to say.

I also understand that many bloggers were unsuccessful, before they were successful.

However, what I am trying to tell you is that you lack all credibility if you do not know how to do the things that you are claiming to be able to teach others to do.

First, you should figure out how to make stuff go viral, before you start advertising that you can do that for others. Otherwise, you are just a scammer trying to part innocent people from their money.

You need to figure out what makes stuff go viral, then how to make it happen on command. When you can do that, you will have all of the credibility you need to be successful, and you will be able to charge people large amounts of money to provide such a service to them.

The problem is that you are not even sure it is possible, yet in your signature, you promise that you can deliver that to people.

          This is the problem.

You are trying to sell something that you cannot deliver -- yet.

Anyone who buys from you now will be buying into a dream that you are unable to help them achieve.

          It is a shame really.

We all started out "not knowing" how to do something. Then we learned by experience to do those things. And most of us did not try to sell what we teach until first we had a track record to back us up.

p.s. Under your profile name, you suggest that you know the "A-Z of freelancewriting".

May I ask how much experience you actually have in Freelance Writing? Any?

I did freelance writing as a primary source of income for more than a decade.

If you can really deliver the "A-Z of freelancewriting", then you should be able to teach me something about it.

Is it even possible that you will be able to teach me something about freelance writing?

In theory if at least one person sees what you stumbled upon and re-shares it and it keeps going from there, then yes it can work. But the more followers you have the better. If you have more followers on Facebook or Twitter use that instead. I think Twitter is great because of the hash tags because even if you do not have many followers, anyone searching under that tag will find your post.
