So, I heard that Google Sniper 2.0 is outdated. What are some current alternatives?

There are so many strategies to rank a site! I guess start off from scratch the way you are supposed to like building a site and creating articles to grow its authority.

Buying backlinks from people here on the Warriors for Hide section is a good idea.!

Also make sure you include in your ranking strategy the prevalence of Google ads in the search results pages. Google is not delivering the kind of traffic they did a year ago unless you are paying them through adwords or have a big keyword that doesn't have any competition from ads.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Your first post and you say something like that? Can you provide a source for that information?

She's right. Google Sniper 2.0 was written before Penguin/Panda. The same methods don't work as well.

I bought GS 2.0 3 years ago and never made money from it. Out of pure coincidence, there is something interesting that I noticed today. One of the sites that George references in GS2.0 (djkgoogleshadow.org) is supposed to be a case study on how well his methods work (bear in mind that he only uses social bookmarking for backlinks).

Well I took at look at djkgoogleshadow.org's link profile on Ahrefs and I think he's bending the truth. Ahrefs reported nearly 2K backlinks and some of them built in that last few days. These were trackbacks/pingbacks and SPAM blog comments. His last post on the site was March 2009.

Call me a cynic but I think he's bumping that site and maintaining it's rank because he's still selling (and making a killing) out of GS2.0. In my opinion, that rank has nothing to do with social bookmarking.
