Hello everyone, I started recently writing articles for hubpages and I am still trying to figure the first steps to take in order to increase my traffic, haven't got indexed in google yet

I write about energy efficiency and renewable energies, by google keyword tool I found that's a competitive market, but this subject is what I study, what I like and what I want to write about, so one way or another, I will have to make it.

In near future I will start a blog and after that a website, by now just focus on the hubpages.

Made a FB page, but i will have to spend some money to grow it, i was expecting to get some earns first. So, any advice warriors?

If you want you can check me here: ECO-logic on HubPages

Thanks in advance! Good earnings!

Face Book Ads are worth time and money. But you do need lots of testing on your ads to identify the best converting one.

      Hello

With hubpages, you can make money but depending on how large you want yur online business, a website would be best to start.. maybe do both for awhile.

I wouldn't worry about the keyword tool saying it's competitive, although you could rather a range of medium competiton keywords where the traffic volumes would add up

Only done a little PPC on FB and the cost wasn't to bad. Lead generation in general can be a good earner so defiantly worth growing. I have had a site in that niche in the past and was a nice little earner, so go for it if that's where your knowledge is

The problem with website is that i will need more work to make it rank, i guess on hubpages it happens faster.

      Maybe.

The problem with posting to hubpages is they can do whatever they like with it and take a percentage of the money you earn for the privilege.

@jamesbrands , i understand what you say, but for now i pay the price, they give me more exposure, i give them a percentage of revenue. To get something you have to give something! About the content, they own the hubs but i own the content, by that i mean, i can copy back my articles, delete them and do whatever i want with them, right?

My unsolved problem is , how do i start in IM? Some advise about starting point. Any?
