Wondering What To Do With $200.

I am new here and new to the world of on line marketing/business. I have a website and am trying to gain as much traffic as I can. I am trying to sale ad space. I have about $200 for now to build as much traffic as possible. I have set up ads and been working hard to network with people, gain some hype about it. Also working on the SEO, with link exchange. I am wondering if you had $200 in your budget what would you do with it? (SEO, more ads, or something i have not thought of etc....)

have a recipe ingredient search engine. Its food2fork.com

I have done Adwords and they have not payed off. I did get $100 free ad credit and I did not get as much traffic as I thought. Right now I am running Bingads and they I am getting a lot more traffic for less.

You could try some paid ads.

Adwords is great depending on your niche, and they give out $100 credits for new advertisers.

What is the niche if you don't mind sharing? We maybe able to point you towards a good paid traffic source.

I don't know what type of website you are building or promoting. You may want to consider visiting the Warrior Special Offers Forum to see if something there applies to your niche.

It honestly seems like you need to find some good educational tools, though (I'm under the impression that link exchanges are a no-no). If you haven't already, I'd also upgrade to full member here to get access to the War Room board as well.

Good, high-quality content - consistently added to your site - is critical.

You may want to look up some of the recent threads about Google Panda and Penguin updates; as well as info on content curation.

You should also look up Tiffany Lambert (tiffanylambert.com); her blog is very helpful and she reviews a lot of great IM products that may help you drive traffic. She's here on WF as well.

I would say some of the best values can be with individuals that have high traffic sites and are selling space directly through their site. Now finding these good value ad spots is not easy, but when you do, they can really help you get traffic.

I'd spend it on ads, $200 goes a long way with cpv traffic. Just like anything there is a right and wrong way to do it, and there is a learning process.

Adwords for a complete newbie? Not the best advice IMO, you will plow through the $100 credit plus your $200 rapidly if you don't know what your'e doing...

If I only had 200 then this is what I would do.

Step 1: Buy an expired pr5 domain.

Step 2: Set up Wordpress on the domain and make it relevant to an in demand niche e.g. Lawyers, dentists etc.

Step 3: Go to DigitalPoint and rent out 10 pr5 homepage links for 20 dollars each per month.

Step 4: Collect your 200 dollars and repeat the steps.

Step 5: Now you have 400 a month. Repeat steps.

If you need help with any of those steps then feel free to pm me.

        I hope this helps mate.

I've just re-read you post and realised my reply doesn't really answer your question. Please ignore.

Why would you come here asking other people what YOU should do with YOUR money!?? Makes no sense there, buddy. You're asking to be taken advantage of...or at the very least, you're looking for advice in the wrong place.

Keep this amount in the bank because you will simply burn it without the right knowledge.

Study internet marketing very well until you will understand how you can make a smart business plan. Then you will know how you should spend your money, without having to ask anyone.

Your plan is a sequence of actions that will help you achieve your goals.

If you act without having a plan, you are doing things by chance and merely hoping to have positive results. You will probably end up frustrated and lose all your money for nothing in return.

You must understand what you are doing and organize your actions until you will manage to make money with a smart business plan.

      Clever indeed.

$200 is a pretty small budget when it comes to buying traffic. You could easily blow through that in a day in just about any niche. No one here really knows 'what' you're doing, but it sounds like you need to create an offer that converts before you start paying for traffic to a website that probably isn't set up to convert that traffic into a profit.

If you're in the Make Money Online niche.. you're better off buying solo ads from the right vendors, and finding out how to buy a solo ad before you do it.

Most things online have a learning curve and with a small $200 budget I've be cautious of spending it on traffic instead of something like an autoresponder and focusing on free traffic methods to get your traffic going and finding out if your site is even profitable.
