Medical Transcription.. I've seen it advertised for years. The health industry hasn't gone away and neither has that biz opp.

I can't imagine it would sell for much though, so I'd really look into something that sells for a higher price point 200-300 ideally...although you may find one out there with that price point as well!

BB,

I have an acquaintance that was in the same situation - wanted to work from home for an hourly wage rather than create a business online.

She tried a dozen different "opportunities" including medical transcription twice. Nothing worked for her. It was always too much work for the meager wage and no control over her daily routine.

She finally bit the bullet and went solo online with a simple business in an obscure niche. She was smart, IMO, and found a wonderful and patient mentor that helped her get a web site up and running.

The business took three months to get any traction, then she made her first sale, then another, then another, and she hasn't looked back since.

She discovered that online business wasn't so bad once she was able to get over the initial obstacles. She would now tell you (as she told me) that all the biz opps she tried made the owners money but left her with nothing but headaches and empty pockets.

I have a work from home site and it is very difficult to find quality opportunities that are not IM to offer to people.

A lot depends on where you want to go with your site. You can offer arts and craft info like jewelry making or other business opportunities that are legit.

You can provide guidance to your visitors in terms of eBooks and other paid information. Sadly many of the programs on the market are just not in your readers best interest.

BTW Medical Transcription affiliate programs generally pay for leads. Some pay for enrollment on a scaled basis such as $100 for x amount of enrollments, $200 for x amount of enrollments (that is per enrollment). Here again you want to make sure it is a legit company that will help with placement.

Search the clickbank marketplace or JV Zoo checking out the statistics on the products.

You can sign up as an Amazon Associate and sell a particular niche, such as books, health and beauty, etc. There is also Zazzle and Pay dot com. Another is Zionsville Candle Co.

Sell crafts/designs/t-shirts via Zazzle, CafePress, etc. Work from home by offering services at Elance, Odesk, and other freelance sites.
