Default paypal protection question

about to take a payment from someone overseas via paypal for a service. Now to protect myself..say I take payment, deliver service. Is there any timeperiod that they coudl come back and try to screw me? Not that I think this is going to happen but once i deliver services I cannot get them back and i just have a weird feeling on this one. How would I protect myself. Use something other than paypal?

Thanks Kevin

Default Re: paypal protection question

I'd be careful, if it's virtual service then yes, they can screw you! paypal usually refund the buyer even if you've done the service becuase you havent got any real proof (postage receipt that's all they care about)
i think it's 60 day's that they can make a claim i'm not sure, i use clickandbuy which accepts every payment there is including direct debit, but they charge a monthly fee,

i don't even bother with paypal , there is always problems

if it's a big payment , i would'nt take it via paypal,

ask your business partner to use third party escrow like that used by freelance sites... or if it is really a big fund, withdraw it immediately.. LOL
