PINTEREST SCHOOLING EBAY

The old good ebay has it days and still have despite a lot of wrong steps and policies employed in the last 10 years or so.

Just decided to have a look on ebay today and have a look in line with my new traffic generation plan to a project im working on and saw ebay new home page design.

Dont get me wrong, ebays has always being innovative about its design and consistently optimising its conversion but the latest and current design is pinterest inspired.

I think there is a lesson for us as marketers there. What works now is what matters now.

Whatcha think?

What it all boils down to is: Adapt or die. No more, no less.

Oh yes, fee bay is now trying to turn itself into a Pinterest copy. Well, this does not help customers or vendors any. Wish they worked on solving problems that we have, but they are not interested in that one. Fee bay strategy is to make our FEES increase again.

Yes, Ebay uses Fees to drive a lot of genuine sellers away. And every little mistake was an opportunity to suspend an account using the power of Paypal. Ebay owns Paypal.
    Thats was too much power.

      Emmanuel Sopitan,

eBay is no different than Google.
Play by the rules and you can make a living from them.
If you don't think so, copy and or follow what Jim Cockrum did.
