Youtube Video on WSO Sales Page not working?

Hello Warriors,

I've looking for a Thread with this info but could not find one.

Do you know the proper way to post your video on your WSO sales page so it works? I upload the YouTube Link and the only thing that shows is a link..

Any thoughts would be helpful!

Thank you - RJ Ritchie

just post the link to the video, ,the link in the browser, that should work.

You are most likely using the https link.

Use the http (WITHOUT the "s" at the end) share link.

    It should work after that.

If you can't get it figured out, post the video link that you are trying to embed and I'll get it sorted out for you.

Try going to the vid on Youtube and selecting the code to embed the video on a web site and dont forget to center the video.

Don't know why I didn't think of this before, here is one of my links.
    [ url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX1OdQ7HYeA&feature=player_embedded"]hotwebintro - YouTube

    hope that come out okay.

I had to space the brackets to show it.

I had to space the brackets to show it.
      For this example:

      [ url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX1OdQ7HYeA&feature=player_embedded"]hotwebintro - YouTube

The correct format to make it auto-embed on WF would be this:

      h.t.t.p.://XXX.youtube.com/watch?v=qX1OdQ7HYeA

NOTE - I had to replace the WWW with XXX and I had to put periods between the http - otherwise it would have embedded.

By using ONLY the link I posted (and edited) above though, the result is this:

As you can see, it will embed when done this way.

Try it out & see if you can get it to work.

If not just post the video link you are trying to embed, and we'll get it fixed for ya.

yeah, the new secure server on YT (https) seems to interfere with the video being automatically embedded on this forum.

Like I said, if you can't figure it out just post the video link (ALONG with the exact URL you are using when you try to post it in your thread, so we can see what's going wrong) and I (or someone else) will easily get it sorted out for ya

Actually, I think the issue is more likely your thread has not been approved yet? A Youtube video will only show as a link until your thread has been paid for and approved.

Hey Will, It was, I just must have put the youtube code in wrong when WSO asked. It works now thanks to you all! By the way my clients still love the mobile sites I made them that you thought me! Thanks - RJ
