1. There's a cap on how many you can follow. If your account has been dormant for sometime (mine was about 5 months). You are allowed to follow about 2000 people. After that you'll have to wait till you're followed back. 2. If you have a new account (created just now) and you want to follow immediately, I heard you can follow a thousand before you're capped. 3. SPECIAL TIP : In order to be a leader you must learn to be a follower! The third tip is a special one, apply it and see. I'll let you experience it yourself. However.. if you follow too many at once, Twitter will suspend your account. Take your time following other people. And I would Tweet some before beginning your following or else you just look like spam.
