Now I am confused... This chap already has the videos I did for getting traffic. And we all know, social networking gets you some real targeted traffic. I have already recommended in ther videos that they don't need t5o have their own product or a website... All they need is a domain name and redirection to an affiliate link where they can start making money.

I even created 3 videos howing exactly how to do this (Don't kill me for that, my target audience is newbies).

What do I say to him.

I have already given a step by step formula to drive traffic, and even an introduction to affiliate marketing. What else do I recommend?

Please let me know how would you reply to such an email.

Regards
Lakshay

    Hi Lakshay,

From the email, it seems to me that he/she isn't sold by what you've done in your videos. You might want to send a reply with references to the video like:

"If you don't have much money, that's no problem, remember my tips on how to make money for free in *the video*? That works"

The person probably just wants a guide as to where to apply what. I'd reply it that way so that he doesn't ask me every single thing that I've covered in my material.

i dnt hv mch money. jst 200 . i dnt even hv tym. i cn jst put in 12 hrs weekly.
Well, 12 hours weekly isn't that bad - as long as he's dedicated to it. You can do a LOT with $200!

Yeah... That seems to be the right way to go about it.

Yeah... but he apparently doesn't realize that. I will make him aware of that though....

If you have the time work with him, but this sounds like a cop out if they are looking for any excuse.

Ask him what he has done to move forward, don't do the work for him but lead him onto to what he is suppose to do.

If you gave him all the instructions get him off his butt and take the first step.

I would make it clear you can't help anyone who is not going to at least take the steps since your time is limited and would help him if he can show you his attempts.

          Right you are!

All I want is that people that buy a $97 product from me see the worth of at least 297... And that is why I posted it here.
he has to take action, not me...

          Thanks Ed

              I agree with Vegas Vince.

I got a couple of these messages back at my blog...just an email with one line in broken english asking if I can help them do this do that.

Don't bother with them. If they are not even willing to do their spelling properly...they wouldn't put in any effort at all.

These guys are just lazy. Don't waste your time.

Yeah Mike (& KaiWei)... I see your point.

But these guys are actually people that buy from us... And I am sure he is not the only one that has such an attitude.

99% of the people fail because they do not take action. 1% fail because they set too high goals or their education is not sufficient for the goals that they have set for themselves. Either way, it's attainable.

I think I should do a special video for all my customers so they realize they need to take action.

I am anyway in touch with them for my backend, so triggering refunds is not really an issue.

But yes, I have replied to this person in a line... as you all suggested and I felt like to too.

You are now being asked to provide product support. You begin at the beginning. Ask him what didn't work with your product, but in this case, with this kind of customer (based on his writing, if he's that disorganized), you have to do the focusing for him. "What went wrong with Step One?," for example. If he hasn't tried step one, then you have an easy answer. If he has, and there is a problem, you have an opportunity to improve your product.

I hate the text chat emails as well. I have a daughter in texas that emails me and I can't understand any of it! I have to pass it off to a niece to decode it for me and give it back! I feel like I am intercepting german transmissions in WWII.

As for your emailer...Far be it from me to disagree with Vince(but I will), but I would at least give them the benefit of the doubt initially.

I would at least ask if they have taken any action, and if not suggest like stated, implement the strategies within your system. If at that point they cannot be clearer or show no effort, then I would offer a refund or suggest that once they take some action THEN they get back with you.

Yes, this person probably is someone looking for the easy way out, but a 3 minute email could make all the difference in the world. You never know by just one email.

Just me though. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt at first...

Well... I thik its time now to hire people for customer support. If I start getting thousands of emails like this, I will just drown.

Keith LOL on your decoding thing... Actually I am pretty used to that lingo because I have communicated in that fashion myself.,.. though not that much... but i certainly remember omitting vowels.

yEAH... Looks like this guy hasn't taken any action, but that is what I have asked him to do.

And I have offered him help with any certain step that he might be unable to understand... Seems to be the right thing to do...

I see your point Vinnie... Thanks for that. I could partially see him through, but obviously what I wanted was expert advice from you.

I will simply reply in a few words and tell him to implement the steps shown in the videos... Deal done.

Thanks Vinnie, and everyone who took the time to reply. Greatly appreciated
