What would you do with $300/monthly budget to spend?

Hi guys,

I have a few new domain names on which I'm building new websites. Websites will be small-medium businesses (e.g. law firms, manufacturers, etc.).

I have around $300/monthly budget (that I could stretch to $500) to spend on web marketing - strictly white hat only.

This money should bring each of my websites at least 20 new email enquiries for my services/products (20 new client leads per month).

What would you do?
#$300 or monthly #budget #spend

Depending on what your businesses are, forming a well designed Facebook with paid ads could be what you are looking for, or at least a start. You are attracting people that are looking for exactly what you do. Google AdWords is also another good option if you are looking for quick results. Otherwise SEO is always another good option.

I would find a paid traffic source you are comfortable with and use it for that. CPV is a great low priced traffic source, just like any traffic source it will take time and patience to master it.

Some of my favorite traffic sources are banners, solos, and forum marketing (both free and paid)

    Thanks guys,

I was just thinking of going Adwords and FB Ads to start with, and slowly moving to SEO.

I know it's really hard to say, but your gut feeling based on your experience, do you think $300 month would lead me to some good results and about 20 new business leads/month?

The kind of business I'm advertising are traditional law firms, doctors, manufacturers, logistic companies, and similar.

I would spend it on creating a blog or two every week. Your budget is enough for that. At the end of the year, you would have at least 52 blogs. Just make x bucks per day and keep reinvesting your profits and you should be good.

I would invest into paid traffic like cpv..get it making you some money and then scale it up...

Fast way to make money online...SEO and Blogging are way TO Slow.

There are many different ways to getting traffic to the website. I think it will be more practical to decide on mastering one traffic method first so that you will not be suffering from information overload. If it is a local business, I will choose those advertising platform that will allow me to zoom in the area which my advertisement will go out.

I would have to say it depends on where your interest lie. I would look for a soft niche and set a sales page made.

Are you advertising for local lawyers & factories or are you selling products to them?

I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly. A paid networker might work better than paid advertising, depending on your goals and business plan.

      Hi Victor,

Yep, advertising for local lawyers and factories: trying to sell their products services to potential clients.

What you mean for paid networker?

$300 is a decent enough budget to run a small scale split test on traffic sources and even ad copy/landing pages. No one can tell you what will convert the best (Even for your specific niche). It has more to do with you... your process, etc. So try a couple different methods and see what converts. It only takes one really well written PPC ad and copy on your site to recoup all of your $300.

You can spend A LOT on Facebook PPC and Google Adwords.... (Especially targeting what you want to target.. like lawyers). But if you think outside the box and get specific with your adword campaigns you can make them affordable. Call Google Adwords, they are there to help. They'll also set you up with $100 credit (after you spend $25). Its in their best interest you succeed so you keep spending money with them.

Outside of that i'd create a blog as others have said. $100 a month can go a decent (although not "long") way on oDesk. If you are including hosting in your $300 its even tighter.. but it can be done. Have a laser focused plan. Write it out (seriously.. write it out). Then be consistent working towards your outlined goal.

I guess I only paid attention to your question in the thread subject either that or you caught me before i had my coffee. If I understand you correctly you have websites aimed at local niches to bring you leads? So you are doing site rentals?

If this is the case I would do a trial with a company you are planning to rent. Say one week and then they pay. I have had success with this in the past.
