Hey guys, I'm a newb to the warrior forum, but i'm planning on being a local here from now on Anyway I have a dating site that I just launched. I'm just wondering, the best method to get traffic and what you're opinions are with clickbank or should I look else where? I have a blog. I just signed up for clickbank. But I need some eyeballs first before an affiliate program brings anything to the table. Any suggestions to help a startup out? I don't have anyone else helping me out on this so I'm trying to sponge it all in lol.

    You should make a business plan or your about to start a very tough journey.... But you can start to bring a little traffic with forum marketing, social networks, and seo.

    Yeah I would hit up some forums maybe buy some banners and see how the traffic converts then move into SEO which takes the longest.

    Try collecting as many dating tips as possible and compiling them into a eBook. You can either give the book away for free or sell it. Just make sure that you have a opt-in form somewhere on your website. Email lists are goldmines.

    I'd remove your login details from the home page, and use that area as a way to connect with social media only. Focus on spreading your brand and not just yourself.

    I'd also optimize the homepage to point people towards the dating section where they can meet people.

    Then I'd focus on driving some local traffic through social media and offline advertising since you're focusing on a specific area.

    Your ebook would be a good way to monetize search engine traffic that comes to your site and isn't from your area. Your best conversions will come from local traffic though.

    Create some short how-to videos and publish them on youtube and send traffic back to your site. In the mean time, post a few good content pieces on your blog then create a free giveaway (ebook or video series or audio) about how to pick up chicks or whatever your sub-niche is... then offer it to people on your blog in exchange for their email. Start building a list, keep generating more traffic from YouTube or wherver you want to get free traffic from (my preference is YouTube).

    Rinse and repeat and at the same time begin creating your own product to sell your growing list. That's the qucikest way to make a full time living online.

      great information Dan! I'll work on building ebooks and youtube vids. I have lots to learn about marketing. And glad I found this site with people like yourselves who are motivated to get out and pay it forward.
