Okay, so I'm not big in the IM scene anymore, but I wanna make $5 a day to pay for ads on facebook for my small business...

anyone have any ideas where I could invest 2-3 hours a week and have no start up costs...

I was thinking fiverr, but I can't figure out a quick and easy sell?
#$5 or day #make

Well you didn't tell us your skills at all so we can't answer that except in generic form. You must know how to do something. Your on here.
Why don't you roam the classifieds here and see if there is anything that you could do also the work for hire section.
Do you have software others don't have, you could do something with the software, Do you have a mower, we still have a few months of good mowing to do. Do you own a shovel a truck.

    Think outside the box man.

This. Exactly. How to make money online, whether it's $5 per day or $500 per day, depends on your skills. Tell us what you can do, and we can suggest things. (I think looking at it in terms of $150 per month is probably far more realistic than $5 per day, because so few online income-sources are steady enough for a daily figure to mean a lot).

You said Fiverr was your first inclination and you are right, there are a million service ideas on that website.

Fiverr would be a pretty easy way to do this, I suggest you browse around some various gigs and find a few you can do.

You can definitely make more than 5$ a day with Fiverr if you publish a few decent gigs and learn how to advertise them properly. If I was you, I would brainstorm random gig ideas and publish as many as possible then buy gigs from Fiverr to advertise your gigs. I know a few people who got positive results from buying gigs to advertise their gigs.

    Or...

You can take a different approach and resell best-selling Fiverr gigs on other websites. I did that a few times with different Fiverr gigs - decent results and it does not require a lot of effort. Either way, if you are going to use Fiverr; publish as many gigs as possible even if the ideas are a bit bizarre. Advertise your gigs on social media and you should be good to go.

    Good luck!

Definitely. Promote on fiveer and upsell your services there. It's a good platform for earnings.

If you are a fast typer and have a decent grasp of English and grammar you could easily make that writing articles in your 2-3 hour window.

If you have a skill such as data entry, marketing, programming, research .. you could easily make that selling yourself on a Freelancing site.

Both those option WILL work. Fiverr you roll the dice.

As asked above, let us know what your skills are and I'm sure could suggest something for you. Fiverr is a good place to look, and in particular check out the gigs that others have requested, and see if there are some you can offer!

Sorry but are you saying that you spend five dollars a day on FB ads but need to find a way to fund that? Shouldn't those ads be generating the revenue to pay for the advertising?

Car cleaning? Dog walking? I'm not sure but $5 a day should be pretty easy to make.

I'd just give up having that after work beer everyday. In fact, at the current exchange rate, I'd be able to spend more than $5 a day on FB ads if I gave that beer up.

Sorry, yes you're quite right. I don't know what possessed me. I certainly wasn't going to entertain doing it myself and in hindsight I may delete that post and report myself for giving out such lethally dangerous advice.

        I sincerely apologise.

I totally agree with you on the beer.

        Now on topic:
As mentioned earlier Fiverr is probably one of the best options to make $5 per day to pay for your ads on Facebook. Browse around for Gigs in a category you like or are interested in, then pick one and open your own Gig. You should of course check out how to market it correctly.

Upsells were also mentioned, selling one product or service is almost never a good idea on the internet. On Fiverr I think you should have 2-3 Gig extras at least.

If you implement the above I am sure you can find a way to make 5 dollars per day.

        Good luck,
        - Felix

    My advice re Fiverr:

Deliver FASTER than your average competitor

When you get an order, hit the ball out of the park when it comes to quality. It pays to swing for the fences because the real money is in the repeat customers and bonuses.

      This ^^.

When it comes to Fiverr, you need to learn how to deliver the work as quickly as possible. Everyone appreciates a quick turn around time. Advertise your gigs through social media and deliver them FASTER than your competitors and you will have no problem making decent cash with Fiverr.

      Any updates?

What type of small business do you have? Perhaps you can find a way to market small skills already related to what you do.

Fiverr is your best bet! What you want to do is leverage off of their traffic that is on their network. Think of a market and niche you would like to get into and then go to fiverr and play around with some keyword phrases and see what is out there and if people are making sales or not. if there is or even if there isn't but the google keyword tool is telling you differently, go ahead a create a gig. Spend a little time and think about the tags you want to use. What phrases would people type to find you! Create yourself a gig a day and you could be making money in no time. Just provide value and really over deliver and keep the thumbs up coming in!

It all starts small yes, You need to think big. Definitely! Touch your head and say " I have a millionaire mind" The first person who gives me the answer of the person who say's that in his book and I will send you a copy of the pdf I put together for the 10 traffic strategies below plus the first copy of my newsletter "IM Success In 2013"

On the other hand if you never had made any money before then set out to earn a small amount and then earn more. The whole idea of fiverr is that its fast and easy PLUS if you pay attention you can learn a thing or two about getting traffic. For me it all comes down to mindset. Also fiverr is extra cash in your pocket.

I think with only 2 - 3 hours a week, your best bet on fiverr is some sort of video review/presentation gig.

If you have the set up, and can do it well, there's some very good money to be made... and they have some of the most lucrative extra's on there.

I think there's still plenty of room on there for this type of gig, if you can deliver quality, fast, then it's a green light.

What sort of gig did you have in mind?
