Need Help Finding a Licensing Wordpress Plugin

I have a client that does training via the use of videos on the website. The idea here is that they want someone to be able to by 5 licenses, for example, which would allow them to log in and watch the video 5 times, and then thats it.

Has anyone here created a plugin that can do that that's for sale, or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I am a big fan of s2Member, and know for a fact that it can limit the number of downloads of certain files. However, I'm not sure if setting the limited file as the source for your video player would work the way you want it to.

s2Member is free for the basic version (which is actually not so basic, after all), so you could give it a try. It's a very powerful Wordpress plugin.

What is stopping me from just recording your video and watching it as many times as I like? I don't see how you can really stop people watching a video more than 5 times. What's the content of the video that it needs limiting?

I guess nothing would stop you if you know how to do it. However, most people don't. I myself would not impose such a limit on my customers, either.

Thing is, he asked how this could be done, not if it was a good idea. I have experienced myself that trying to educate clients can sometimes be quite tough. In the end, they are paying you to fulfill their requirements, not to question their business model. Some even get offended if you dare trying to be helpful.

As much as I care for my clients, I have learned that it is sometimes easier to just shut up

I come from the offline marketing side of things where I will ALWAYS question someone's idea if I think it is not a good one. You don't win any trust in this business by just being a 'yes' man. We already have more than enough of those people. I don't think limiting views is a very good way of doing things with video and so that's why I am questioning it.
