Have you felt the same thing?

Oh boy,

I just wanted to spread it out (hoping that I'm not the only one on WF). If this is on wrong forum category then feel free to move it.

Lately, I have been giving up on posting replies to different threads.

Here's whats happening:

1) There's a guy who needs help and I know how to help him
2) I hit the reply button
3) I start writing ideas, thoughts, solving problem etc..

..boom

4) My brain gets freezed
5) I'm thinking that my post is going way too much offtopic
6) I'm thinking this guy probably doesn't give %(¤/! about my post
7) I'm thinking that I should be doing my own business and not wasting my time on forum without a SIG link
8) I'm logging off without posting anything
9) I'm realizing that I just spent 10 minutes on a post that was never published

.... and this is happening pretty much lately. What should I do? I know my problem is ridiculous yet disturbing for me. Forget the WF entirely or ...? By the way, have you faced same issue?

Cheers

The warrior forum is a huge time sink, you need to be very disciplined with it. I should be working on some translations right now but I got the warrior's bug and I want to read everything - I feel good when I feel I'm being helpful...it's like a drug (and I bet there is stuff changing in my brain chemistry and making me feel good when I'm on this forum!), but I do work in customer care so maybe that's my problem, professional habits ;-)

so go ahead and publish it. Maybe not here, but if someone asked for help here I'm pretty sure there are at least another 100 people out in the wild interwebz who don't know the forum and might appreciate the same advice. So save your post, format it as an article and voila, instead of wasting 10 minutes you've worked 12 minutes to write an article that can be posted around the web to promote your business ;-)

TL-DR: you're not alone... There should be a Warrior Forum Anonymous Association somewhere for sure! :-)

Be disciplined and try to limit your posts to a certain number of words. That should help!
