In a final stage of a new project - need opinions!

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi everyone,

I am about to launch a new website (eCommerce store) very soon. In fact, probably tomorrow. I have been working on it for quite a while. Notably, this is my first website that I have invested large amounts of money (for me) into it.

I'd really like your opinions on it. Note that there is still work to be done (pictures and descriptions).

From the bit that I saw, it looked good but for some reason it crashed out twice saying that I could not access the site and operation would be aborted. Not sure what it was about but I could not stay on the site without it disappearing.

Looks very nice IMO. Good work. I was actually expecting much worse - the people whom I've seen resort to WF for opinions don't have a clue what they're doing. Thanks for breaking the mold .

  Took a very quick look. Nice job on the mechanics, the site looked easy to use.
  
  Will it work? You won't know until you release it into the wild.
  
  One thing I'd think about if it doesn't mess up your layout - you might try increasing the text size a point or so. There's a lot of folks out there where the type seems to get smaller every year...

Nice website, looks awesome!

However, i'd move a few things around.

1. Move the "Site Categories" to the top of the left hand side.
2. Move the "Updates" above the fold. Maybe have it somewhere in the header? You'll get more opt-ins this way.

Using Joomla too? Good choice

I think it is very usable. I agree with the guy above. Move that stuff around. The poll should be under the site categories.
I don't know how far away you are from launching it. But maybe make more pictures on the products. And if there is a login, I think it should be closer to the top. I, myself, usually dont look at the right side of the page. That's usually where advertising goes. So my mind just spaces that out. Most people tend to look at the top, and the left side of the page. I do think this is a great site though. Great job!
