I get stuck in a rut so easily, any advice where to start?

Hi

Last week I was pumped, started making a blog, then the next week comes and I dont know where to start.

Besides the likes of clickbank marketplace and google trends, where are some places I can start to try to find popular products and keywords? I know where to go after I establish the initial product niche, but FINDING that niche to start with is where I always struggle.

I get a bit sick of clickbank all the time, I had a look at share a sale but I couldnt find a best sellers top list like on clickbank.

I researched the popular anxiety / panic niche this morning, so many different terms and huge popularity, so I managed to find a kw with a low competition. So thats a start at least, will build a blog around that for now, and the other market I thought I would tackle is forex robots, I know that market is pretty competetive, but I like the top click bank product (last I looked) fap turbo.

So so far Ive got anxiety, forex, I like the fat for idiots as well, but I keep going for the super competetive products for some reason, Im looking at ways to find new niches. Theres that niche finder thing on click bank, but am a bit over using my credit card anymore, I would like to do things free for a change.

Any advice at all is very much appreciated, I know its such a common question, but its always a stumbling block, finding that initial niche to begin with.

regards

Justin

I have the same exact problem, and what I always see as an answer is to find a topic that you are passionate about and stick with that. This way the content comes easily and even if some research is needed you will not be bored.

You need to decide if you want to create 3 blogs on specific topics, or create one bigger blog which includes various niches.

For example you could go with a general theme like 'lifestyle tips' (see zenhabits.net) and this would include categories and posts about all kinds of niches. eg finance, health, travel etc

blog for each one for sure, just to isolate those kws and stuff. I see the crosby twitter product is on top at CB right now, but cant find many twitter related domain names, I guess affiliates are using ppc to drive traffic there or using traffic type kws.

    @Luckey 07

Im not passionate about that much really lol. I always like the weight loss stuff cos Im always trying to lose weight lo, super competetive of course

I think you all have gotten it wrong.

What are you trying to do?
    Do you have a plan?

Do you believe that the formula:

    - Find a hot product to promote
    - Create the landing page, bonus page, thank you page
    - Start PPC campaigns
    - Leverage by web 2.0 for traffic
    - Repeat

...is the magic wand that will fly you to profits??

If that was the KEY, then everybody can do this, right?

In fact, if you just follow that plan above and create say 1000 sites
yes you can have 100s of dollars coming to your account.

    BUT:

    - what if tomorrow CB offers no marketplace
    - what if tomorrow PPC are not affordable
    - what if tomorrow there are no products to "sell"
    - what if people get sick of web 2.0 promotions because
marketers saturated the communication role of them
for using them as promotional strategies without any soul and heart
    - what if Google decides that blogs should be slapped, without a reason
    - what if the keywords game becomes void due to new search engines coming,
with artificial intelligence that will list not the promotional sites, but only the
    sites that give unique content
    - what if Adwords and Adsense change their policies...
    - etc...

And suppose you were clever enough to build a list of subscribers
    and another list of "customers..."

What will you then offer to those people???

What unique will you be able to offer to your "leads"
that cannot be offered by the hordes of the similar-mind-oriented
marketers like you that will also be forced to do *something else* for
establishing a new business approach that will depend ONLY to them??

Again: I am not saying that what you do is not a money making plan.
It is. If you can afford to manage dozens if not 100s of sites, add
content, be strategic and build your lists, then money will come.

What WON'T come though is the CONNECTION between YOU as
a HUMAN, and unique person and the PEOPLE in your lists also
    as HUMANS and unique persons.

    Can you answer that??

If yes, go for it, you're doing great!

But if you cannot answer that question then
you need to (re)discover yourself first and
THEN draft your personal attack to the market
for establishing a healthy, viable business that
CAN LAST IN THE FUTURE NO MATTER "WHAT IFs..."

As you may know, that key for me is the product creation
and above all: my personal intervention with my people.

You need to find your key.

    Hey Justin1 and Luckey07.

What you need is plan. You
would want to make a "to do" list.
When you are done with everything
    on the list-create another one.
If you are out of the things to do and can't figure
out one, get yourself a trustful source of information
    which can help with this.

Usually when I have nothing on my list, I start reading
marketing resources and books, course, anything I can lay
    my hands on really...
