I just found Ken Evoy's Site Build It! Affiliate Program listed as #1 money maker on this review site.

http://affiliates.sitesell.com

This is what the reviewer says:

Ken Evoy's Site Build It! is right up at Number 1, where it belongs.

I earn four-figure commissions (and sometimes five-figure commissions) from Ken's affiliate program now, with only minimal maintenance.

Ken is a truly amazing, multi-talented individual. Among his achievements, he has taught medicine, designed toys and games which earn millions of dollars in royalties, and invented a "virtually impossible to sell" niche software product - which he sold on the Net, earning $1,000 to $5,000 a day.

SiteSell's fast-selling Site Build It! (SBI) has been my top money-earner for years.

It makes it easy for you to create your own website simply and easily, even if you have no technical knowledge at all. It analyzes which themes will be profitable.

Even better, it helps you optimize the pages for the main search engines and teaches you how to promote your site effectively. This remarkable tool also generates your Google and Yahoo! Sitemaps and automatically submits them when necessary so you don't have to!

Site Build It! doesn't just teach you search engine optimization. It teaches you Internet marketing.

Most important of all, it teaches you how to be successful. No wonder SBI! has thousands of happy users.
I just joined and I'm wondering if anyone else has any comments on this? Seems like a great program to promote. I'm excited.

Hi

I agree with the reviewer. Ken Evoy and his company, Sitesell, is highly ethical and the aff program is designed to reward producing affiliates.

I recommend it!

The Sitesell 5 Pillars Affiliate Program is a great legit program. However, if you plan on marketing this you're up against tons of affiliate marketing competition. This affiliate program has been around for years and has tons of reviews floating all around the web.

Yep, Sitesell's 5 Pillar affiliate program has been around for 10 years now. You can promote their main product, SBI!, which is an all-in-one e-business building system. It has helped something like 50,000 people build successful online businesses. They also have SBI! eLearning now where you can take SBI! as a class online. And then there is Sitesell Services which is a "do it for you" service for small business owners. As you can see on their affiliate sign-up page, commissions range from $75 - $250, depending on what you sell. Pretty generous if you ask me.

I'm a Sitesell affiliate and I'm not in the internet marketing niche. The program has a massive affiliate resource and training center, and teaches you how to promote to just about any market you can think of. There are forums where the affiliate manager answers questions, affiliates help each other out, and where Ken Evoy holds awesome contests.

Multimastery said you'll be up against tons of affiliate marketing competition. That may be true if you are in the internet marketing field. But here's the thing--with the 5 Pillar program, you can learn how to promote offline, and how to promote online to various demographics and popular niches like travel, moms, etc. If you ask me, the program has something for everyone. I say try it out!

In my opinion there is a fundamental flaw with the Five Pillars affiliate program. It was set up many years ago, using what is now a rather outdated model - only people who continually bring in new customers are rewarded for their previous efforts.

In Internet marketing today, we are more used to the 'sell once, earn many times' approach to recurring income.

So, for example, if you sell a copy of SBI today, you'll earn a commission (the amount depends on a sliding scale that you'd need a mathematics professor to work out) but in a year's time, when that customer renews, your recurring commission will only be paid if you have new sales to keep your account current.

It is for that reason - and my opinion that SBI is a very expensive and outdated sitebuilding system that is much inferior to alternatives in today's market - that I no longer promote it.

[Added for clarity: My opinions on what the SBI product offers are possibly outdated too. It is a long time since I stopped using it, and I have no idea what, if anything, they have done to improve it in the meantime.]

I did a lot of reading about their payment model because I found it confusing at first. But the more I learned about it, the more I realized that I was the one making it more complicated than it really is.

By the way, there is not a sliding scale for selling SBI!s. You earn $75 per sale. And $125 for their eLearning course. Yes, you have to keep making sales to get the highest amount of repeat purchase commissions, but you don't have to sell a lot (maybe 2 or 3 in a payment period).

It doesn't make any sense to me to draw the conclusion that SBI! is an expensive and outdated site building system if you haven't checked it out in a long time. If you check it out and compare it to other systems, I think you'll find that it's pretty cutting edge.

Bottom line is, Ken Evoy and his company are well respected and have been online for over 10 years. That in itself says a lot. The products and services work for most audiences and their commissions are high. The affiliate center rocks. I've gotten an affiliate marketing education with all the resources there, and of course, you can use that knowledge with any affiliate program you promote.

Just my .02
