GetResponse Pricing Levels - What Do You Get?

Hi guys,

I was just looking over the GetResponse website. The only prices I saw posted are on the order page:

Payment Plan:
GetResponse BRONZE US $17.95 a month (regular rate)
GetResponse SILVER US $47.85 quarterly ($6 off!)
GetResponse GOLD US $87.70 for 6 months ($20 off!)
GetResponse PLATINUM US $145.40 for 1 year ($70 off!)

I get that there's a difference in pricing, and I know that they're very well regarded here on WF. But I looked all over the site and never did find what they provide for each of those price points.

Anybody have an account with them and can shed some light? I'd kind of like to know what I'm buying before I sign up to pay out the money.

Cheers from warm and smiling Thailand,
Charles

    I prepaid the year. That's $12/mth.

    Their features are listed here:
    GetResponse Email Marketing Features

They also have a free account so you can test like crazy.

It sounds like you are confused what platinum, gold etc mean. Like, they have different features depending what one you choose. But they are really only pre paid membership levels. A month in advance, or a year, etc. What features come with each level are the same. You just pay more often if you choose a smaller price point initially.
If you're serious best to go with the platinum level, because you save the most over the course of a year.
If you're unsure bout the service and if its for you, try the free option first, then if you like it go for the yearly one.

I think these are just payment discounts. The more you pay up front, the higher the discount.

Don't forget they charge an extra $4.50 per month for each additional 5,000 subscribers (I believe).

It still usually works out cheaper than aweber.

Had a Getresponse account submitted two support tickets never did get a response. Dropped the account opened an account with profollow.com (aweber with all the old features with the old price) $20.00 a month. GREAT!

Aweber is now $19/month. Maybe you ought to switch again.

That's for up to only 500 subscribers with Aweber (jumps to $29/month for 501-2,500 subscribers).

GetResponse allows up to 10,000 subscribers for $17/month.

          Not any more

Pricing now is very close to Aweber for the lower tiers. Ouch!

I guess it couldn't last forever. They have also completely revamped the interface and I can't say I like it very much. Same thing happened with domaindirect a while back when they moved to hover. It was supposed to be a simpler interface but I couldn't find a thing.

But GR still has the free trial so it's worth a look to see if it's a good fit.

Thanks guys, that was what I wanted to know. I've been so conditioned to expect tiered levels to mean more features, I totally missed the price difference.

And Sam. thanks for mentioned the $4.50 fee for having more subscribers. Seems reasonable.

Bill, thanks for your perspective on their customer service. I'll definitely keep that in mind. Service is important to me, especially since I'm outside the US.
