Any Good Alternatives To Clickbank You Can Recommend?

Hi everyone. I've been thinking about promoting Clickbank products as an affiliate, but would like to know if any of you can recommend any suitable alternatives.

Thanks in advance!

There are so many. I think it's better to find your niche and then look for related affiliate networks (Google "Keyword+affiliate","Keyword+affiliate program", Keyword+affiliate network")

    But anyway, here a few:
    Amazon
    clicksure
    ShareASale
    jvzoo
    MarketHealth
    Plimus

    Good luck!

There are loads of affiliate networks, but very few (if any) with ClickBank's long-established record for successful and reliable payments.

For example, there's quite a well-known one called "PayDotCom" but affiliates there aren't paid by the network, but are dependent on the vendors for payment (which is why almost no serious, pro-affiliates will even look at products sold there - it's just a completely unnecessary problem).

And then there are networks like "ClickSure", who are based in China, appear to accept all the products declined for a variety of legal/ethical reasons by other networks (and have had their own PayPal account limited!), and so on.

Then there are others, much smaller, like JVZoo, where everything is PayPal-dependent.

Then there's "Commission Junction", where many physical products are sold.

I've looked at probably 15-20 other places, but it's really pretty difficult to find anything as "stable, sensible and reliable" as ClickBank, and impossible to find anything with so many different niches and products represented. Unless you count Amazon, I suppose (and they are, in many senses, a "ClickBank alternative"!).

In one sense, there's no such thing as "a ClickBank product" ... because ClickBank, of course, is simply a retailer and payment-processor, not a manufacturer of products: there are only "products whose vendors use ClickBank as a retailer and payment-processor", and they're a hugely diverse bunch, making it more or less meaningless .to try to generalize about their 15,000 products.

Why are you specifically interested in looking for alternatives to ClickBank, Richard?

I just wanted to know if Clickbank was a good place to promote affiliate products, and if there were any affiliate programs that were considered equally as good.

The best approach is, once you have decided on a niche, determine what you want to promote and then look for an affiliate program that has the item.

If it's a physical product, ShareASale, Commission Junction or Amazon are probably the best places to look.

If it's an informational product, Clickbank is the leader and reliable, or possibly Amazon, but the payout there is very low in comparison.

Once your site is established it might be worth looking for direct relationships with vendors where payouts are higher.

...Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just set there.

Many affiliate networks are causing some marketers some difficulties at the moment. This is because nearly all of them have recently tightened up (considerably!) over what's acceptable to them. The more fraudulent, misleading, scammy, dishonest tricks of sales pages are now causing rejections. This situation has arisen because the upline financial service providers of all those payment-processors (including PayPal's upline financial service providers) are clamping down on what they'll tolerate.

This is a very good thing, for all of us (apart from the scammers and liars), of course, in the long run. But it also means that for now, companies like ClickSure, based in China, who accept all the nonsense, crap and scams that other people will no longer tolerate, can flourish (to some extent) by being among very few networks still willing to do business with deceptive idiots. Or so they imagined. But then they realised that they still have to be able to do business with PayPal, too. Which has given them a problem, because PayPal isn't quite so keen on doing business with them and has limited their account!

My point is simply that it pays to "check people out carefully before you do business with them", and not to assume that just because someone would like you to believe that they're a "ClickBank alternative", it's going to be plausible, sensible or reasonable to do business with them.

      Just my opinion, of course.

I am, a huge fan of clickbank....but not a fan of their refund system. Do sites like plimus, clicksure have such a policy as well? Can we, create a nice funnel... with such sites like plimus, clicksure?

Clickbank is very tough for Newcomers to Internet Marketers, it took me a good while before i made my first commissions. They seem to have a high refund rate maybe due to fact that they deal mainly with digital downloads. i find that most people exploit there 60 day refund policy by buying these downloads, downloading them and then ask for a refund. There were times when i smiled when i saw a couple sales only to see them reversed a few days after in refunds.
Also they are now introducing some strict policies that have driven affiliates and vendors to other Affiliate Programs like Clicksure.com. They are the one i currently use but they don't have the wide range of products to promote like Clickbank. The recently introduced a CPA program for several vendors who pay you a fixed amount of commission ( as much as $100) even if the purchaser ask for a refund later.
Others i use are:Amazon and jvzoo (they pay big commissions too)
