Hey everyone,

I'm attempting to build a database of successful MLM programs for a friend of mine. He wants to do research on, up to 50 programs, on a new website he is building. I was curious if you have worked with an MLM program, what is the name and did you have any success?

I've seen the usual list of companies "Amway, Avon, Empower Network, Isagenix, etc..." but I am curious if you have used others and it worked for you. Any name dropping you can do is quite helpful for me and my friend's site.

You could easily research this on Google... there are way too many to list in one place I would imagine...

You could find the most profitable ones though by doing a quick search.

That's what I would have suggested.

It won't take you long by searching through the big G, or even go to a few MLM forums, cos this one isn't over enthusiastic on that subject.

I think this is true, but more so in online marketing generally, than in MLM. In business, it's still a 'numbers game', so more traffic generally equates to more money, and generating more traffic is accepted as the 'holy grail' in most online business models.

However, while it may seem like online marketing techniques would be a great avenue for advertising an MLM opportunity, the reality is often the opposite.

One reason is because MLM carries a general negative stigma, more so than nearly any other industry, and bad news travels faster online than offline, exacerbating the negative stigma.

Another reason is because liars, cheats and thieves in the world have given online marketing a 'black eye' in general with their schemes and scams. It's easier for them to 'hide' in the online shadows than the offline ones.

So combining MLM and online marketing is like getting two 'black eyes'.

Yes, larger amounts of traffic can help offset a lot of negativity, much like positive feedback offsets negative feedback. But when you begin with something already assumed to be a scam, as MLM is often reported to be, it will take hoards of traffic to help offset the assumed negativity, just to level the playing field alone.

So I do agree, but I would reword it as, "If you can drive TONS of traffic, then maybe, as long as you also recognize that marketing is about making a difference."

Like most business models, MLM requires the building of an ongoing relationship based on trust. But unique to MLM is the added requirement that many of your customers must also learn to build ongoing relationships with others. At least that is how most MLM's are structured, and one of the reasons why I decided to get out of the MLM industry years ago.

However, I have recently gotten back into the industry because I found a structure that works for me. And contrary to an observation made by someone in an earlier post, the MLM industry is not on the decline, but in fact is blossoming today for a verity of reasons.

Based on what evidence? I'm deeply involved on a daily basis
and what I see is more money being earned than ever.

And it has nothing to do with driving traffic to anything... that's a sure
      path to MLM failure.

There are quite a few as many have mentioned.

As for finding the right company to work with, find a company whose main focus isn't "recruiting" but more so selling items that are in demand. Network marketing can work if it is the right business model.

    Good luck.

    One good program is called:

SFI Marketing Group. They are paying their members and have for over 12 years now.

By the way, I used to ignore MLM programs online in the past few years and never put any action into them.

I know that a lot of affiliate marketers, new or experienced, don't like MLM and are only promoting one time commission programs. Which is fine because this is the way I was for a few years while I was doing well with one time regular affiliate programs.

When I woke up a few years later and wondered why my income is going down and why it never went up, it hit me right in the face.

The nice thing about MLM is that you get DUPLICATION and you earn RESIDUAL income.

That is why you see many vendors on Clickbank make so much money. They have a lot of duplication (affiliates) promoting for them.

I am with Beachbody which is health and fitness. I got involved more for my own health and fitness and the discount but I love the products and now am making some money. MLM is definitely not for everybody and a good majority won't make money unless they really believe in the products and are good at sharing.

The one company I would recommend is called Consumer Choice Marketing (CCM). They are in the energy deregulation business, a little known, but red hot portion of MLM...actually, it is a referral business. You can do the business by yourself or build a team. Either way, you get paid. It is about brokering electricity and natural gas to residential and (mainly) commercial customers (businesses, factories, school districts, franchises, churches, towns, government buildings, etc). You name it, everyone is your potential customer.

You get paid on their usage of natural gas and electricity month after month, for as long as they are under contract. The great part is: the company does the work for you. The only thing you have to do is get a copy of the utility bill and send send it in to the company. It is "stupid easy" and the pay is fantastic. For example, one guy submitted the utility bill for a hospital (...it was a medium-size hospital...lots of natural gas and electricity use), and is now being paid over $20,000 a year residual (by monthly payments) for just that one piece of business. Incredible, but absolutely true. There are folks making $100K per year residual or more from just one deal (...those are the huge commercial entities....factories, colleges, office buildings, etc) for just turning in a utility bill.

The great part is most folks have no clue this type of business is possible. So, the market is NOT saturated. But, I do not believe this will be the case for long. This business opportunity is bound to take legs, especially since the company has just announced that it is dropping its one-time joining fee to $99, which you can get back in a week's time.

Enough said. You can find out more by listening to the recorded message at (518) 530-1160.

You said you wanted a real opportunity, so here it is. (518) 530-1160. Before, you say it sounds too good to be true, check it out for yourself. Folks, I am not lying to you. No more excuses.

The general structure of MLM's is that you work your butt off to pay the folks up the chain. You will get a better payoff for time invested if you work on starting your own company.

I think empower network and MTTB by Matt Lloyd. Matt Lloyd is one of the high end pro vendor and seller.
