LOL forgot the Poll - Music vs. No Music in tutorial videos?

If you wouldn't mind doing a quick vote for me and tell me if you would be more interested in watching a tutorial video with light background music?

Would you prefer no music so you have a crystal clear voice?

FYI: The video is being created by powerpoint and I explain everything on the page that I will be talking about

    Many of people will find it distracting and that is not professional. but frankly, a little energetic sort of music would be ok to keep the viewer alive till the video.

    Im actually in the process of creating some video tutorials and I asked myself this question. I think it depends on whether or not there will be a lot of talking in the tutorial or not. If there is a lot of talking, then I would suggest no music. If there is not much talking and its mainly illustrating how to do something, some very light background music might be good

    No music as it just distracts people if you are trying to explain things. You will never have any customers complain there is no background music but you will have customers complain if they don't like the background music.

    Play it safe -- no music.
