Does anyone have a positive experience dealing with Fiverr clones selling or buying there? Are there any strong competitors to Fiverr?

It depends on what you're looking to buy, but I've found seoclerks.com to offer much better SEO-related gigs that Fiverr. But of course their prices do tend to be a bit more.

Thank you for that! I've been looking for a site like SEOClerks for the longest time and now I have it!

Are you worried about a particular clone site? I know there are people who make plenty of money on others. What ones are you specifically asking about?

I wonder if there are reliable clones worth dealing with. Buying and selling the same services as those popular on Fiverr. Any suggestions? Thanks.

For selling I would just stick with Fiverr. I think it is the most popular so you will get the most business. But if you are buying, it never hurts to shop around.

I make quite a bit of money on Fiverr. I don't even bother with its clones because they don't have the traffic volume.

I don't believe there are real competitors to fiverr, they have cemented a nice market share and even non business people know of them and use them.

You can just shop around when buying but as far as selling is concerned, you shouldn’t look for other sites but stick with Fiverr. Just don’t think about its clones since they’re not getting traffic volume anyway. Fiverr is the most popular and it will likely stay in the number one spot for a quite a long time. That’s just my opinion though.

I use Fiverr and you can stumble upon some real bargains, especially if you get on to someone just starting out that needs the testimonials. Yes it's a little bit riskier but Fiverr does give you some cover if you are really unhappy.

For instance I just had a cd cover graphic done for my sales page, OK that's maybe easy to do but I have saved myself so much time it was worth the $5 plus he did a revision.

I have tried the clones but to be honest they are not a patch on Fiverr. In fact you will be lucky if anyone answers your gig request! Stick to Fiverr they are the market leader, for the moment.

Hope that helps and before you ask I am not getting paid by FIverr for this reply ;-)

My conscience is telling me to report the post above mine as spam. Ugh! No! Noobs don't get in trouble.

I agree, just stick with Fiverr if you're a seller. Sure there are a LOOOT of blogs out there detailing their terrible experiences with the site but for the most art, it's been quite helpful I'd say. Or at least to me and some people I know. Plus it's a great "first step" to making money online. You get paid and you realize, Oh Shhhz it really is possible to make moolah on the Interwebs.

As for clones, I tried signing up with TenBux and and a couple more similar micro job sites but never got any orders. So I vote fiverr all the way. Or you can try being an SEO reseller or web design reseller, which pays more. But you better meet some clients on fiverr first.

    Hi,

Fiverr is great for me, I used it for a lot of things.

I bought translations, corrections, design, videos and more.
I think I spend around 300$ in the last 12 months on Fiverr.
I never tried others, because for me they have it all.

Just one thing, make sure you take the right guys and girls, with a positive rating and track record.

Fiverr is and always be Fiverr. Nobody can take a pie of their market share. They are now a brand name and you know people always look for a branded product. But FYI non-branded products are too sell as well. There market share may be low, but they are earning well like other Fiverr clones. I know at least 25 fiverr clone sites those are doing lots of business. If you are a seller, I always recommend to list your products on as much sites as possible. You don't have to spend a dime for that. But if you get a sell from there will you refuse it?

I think MyCheapJobs is fully established now. There are lots of quality sellers and many returning buyers. Those sellers are assets of MyCheapJobs. Also I can tell that you have done a lots of work at the beginning. I too started a small micro job site just couple of days ago. I have many year's experience on promoting other people's site, with on page and off page SEO, forum posting, comment posting, backlinking, article submission, PR submission, and many more, but as per my own site I am becoming dumb and just thinking from where to start.
