What Payment Processor Does Godaddy, Namecheap and Hostgator Use?

Hello Warriors.

I will like to know the payment processor used by Godaddy, Hostgator or Namecheap.

My reason for asking is that their payment processor accept payments from Nigerian issued debit cards (Mastercard and Visa) and I want to start a drop-shipping business targeted at only Nigerians.

Yeah, no worries, I am a Nigerian!

Thank you for your time.

They have their own merchant accounts, and don't therefore need a payment processor. (Namecheap accepts PayPal as well - I think the other two you mentioned probably don't, but I can't quite remember, now).

A "payment processor" is a business that effectively allows you to use their merchant account, on a transaction-by-transaction basis, if you don't have your own. Businesses like the ones you mentioned do have their own.

On the internet, whenever Mr Vendor accepts a credit-card payment from Mr Customer, somewhere along the line someone's merchant account has been used, whether it's Mr Vendor's or that of an intermediate party. Contrary to the impression given in many forum conversations on this subject, a payment-processor isn't really an alternative to a merchant account: it's just a way of using another party's merchant account.
