Wasting My Time With Fivver?

To keep this short. I have a site that is less than 30 days old in the survival niche. So far there is 156 articles, all original and somewhere in the neighborhood of 100k-110k words of content. Have not installed analytic s or my amazon affiliate link on the outbound links. Is it worth my time to put it up on Fivver as is? What would some of you more experience buyers be willing to pay for a content rich site like this? Thanks.

    Hi,

I think your site is worth much more than $5.

If you have 156 original articles then your site must be worth considerably more than $5.

If you have optimised your site for keywords and submitted it to Google then it should be recognised by Google fairly soon. After a while it should attract visitors from Google.

You could list it for sale on Flippa. If your site is under 30 days old I think they charge $9 plus commission if it is sold.

Or you could keep it and wait for it to attract traffic, make some commissions from Amazon and Clickbank and it could be sold for a higher price.

You are asking how much a someone might be willing to pay for it.

Well if someone wants a website in the survival niche, your site has a lot of original articles so a lot of work has been done. So just as a guess if the articles are good I would say I would pay $100 - $200 + for it, because the articles alone could be worth at least that.

If you could do some SEO work on it, it could be worth a lot more.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I've been up close to 30 hours and by no means did I actually mean Fivver. The company I mean to say was Flippa.

People should really make a habit of reading at least 2 -3 previous posts before blindly replying.

It is really funny reading through all the posts above

I would guess that it's probably worth at least $5. But, it's impossible to say without seeing the domain, site, content and traffic stats.

Sounds like you have put some work into it, why waste it for 5 measly dollars? PM me with the URL and I will make you an offer, or at least give you an estimate-I have a site in a similar niche.

      Computermesh,

May I suggest you look to other sections of the forum for specific help on selling your site?

There are places here specifically designed to advertise web sites for sale.

If you decide not to sell your site, but to develop it further, there are also specific areas of the WF that help you with web site building.

      The best to you,
      Steve

yea ! am sure you weren't considering selling ti 5.00 that would be pretty odd. SEO should naturally take over and give you some good organic traffic. i would have probably added in content in a drip like fashion so you could optimize as you went

It depends on how much you are asking for it. Also, it depends on the commercial value of your content niche.

I definitely think you can sell this site for at least $1k even if there are no current sales. People will buy sites like this to build backlinks and flip it.

    • Monetize it and hold it for two more months. Then you should be able to sell it for 10 times your last months revenue. You may have to hold it for three more months, I forget if Flippa requires 3 months of revenue before you can list the revenue.

If the content is original and not scrapped the only way to make a good ROI is to monetize it and then exit for a lump sum. IMO

      • You can always list it on Flippa with the reserve price of your liking so see what the value is. By that I mean, the flippa market place with didacte value however, most people I know filter by revenue so a site with no revenue might not get any traffic to the flippa listing. Just something to think about.
