Press release SEO tip of the day

The thread title is a little over optimistic because I'm actually too lazy to write a press release tip EVERY day.

Anyway - pick a good press release distribution service - in this case I used Press Release Distribution Services - WebWire - and make SURE you put your keyword in the headline. I actually got on the front page of REGULAR Google, not news.google.com, for the words trade show, which has 117 million competing sites.

This morning it's gone from the front page of regular google but still on page one of news.google.com. It was fun while it lasted.

      webwire. Press releases can stick around forever with the long-tail keywords but I find the really hot keyword phrases get bumped off page one of google fairly quickly.
