considering seo as a career

Hi all.
I'm new here and I've read a lot of encouraging posts about doing this full time.

I was wondering... in light of how competitive this is...
is it still a good choice for a job?

Or is it one of those things where there's a few people at the top making all the money and everyone else is just trying to catch up.

Just curious.

I would actually say it is more spread out now than it was a few years ago. You just need to come up with a formula that will attract prospects that will become buyers of your services. Think about what services you want to offer.

SEO services on their own aren't enough you need to package toegteher your skills and offer businesses a spectacular package that they can't refuse, SEO alone isn't enough to attract a good customer base.

    Hi
have you had SEO success for yourself, e.g. on an affiliate programme? Might be a good thing on your CV?
    Best of luck though ...

i would say i make a good living out of seoing for clients and my sites. pursue your dream but you need to do a lot of research before you can even penetrate this industry. start small. take little steps. you can start as an article writer. or a blog commenter (find that in DP), or forum poster, etc. develop these skills and if you get proficient, you can go to more advanced stuff. anything that will enhance your skills to become a full fledged seo will help.
