High Value User Names

Can someone tell me who the biggest imers are on this forum or where to find them?
-usernames with the most posts
-usernames with the most amount of "thanks"
-usernames that made the most amount of $$$

Im asking this because im new to im and the last 2 weeks it was really tough for me to find the good wso/posts between the 95% bs and liars that only make money by selling "how to make money" guides and pretending to be awesome imers while their not. I thought this would be a good start for me to find a few gurus to listen too that actually were succesfull to save some time.

Users that I already have and like: Greedy, Kenster, Williamrs and willR
Are there any more?

Another thing you could do is to check out the Warrior Forum blogs. Just go to the drop down menue Blogs -> Blog List and then sort by either Entries or Comments.

If a member is actively blogging using the forum blog you it means they are a War Room member which is a paid membership, so they are serious about their business. And if there is a lot of activity you can surmise that they have some decent IM experience.

Hi progressor, it's nice to make your acquaintance.

I understand where you are coming from and where you want to go with your request, but I think that your plan in going forward is a bit flawed.

Just because someone has a lot of posts, doesn't equate to success. Maybe they just like to talk a lot. Also there are many highly successful members who don't post all that much.

Just because someone has a lot of thanks doesn't mean they are successful in their IM endeavors, it could mean they are well liked, or are funny or any other number of reasons.

And finally, there really is no way for all of us to know who has made the most money as many warriors just don't go around posting that information on an open forum.

That being said, I recommend you browse the forum, use the search function for areas you are interested in and read through those threads. As you do this, you can then make your judgements from there.

I wish you tons of success, though.

I've had some light "mod" experience for some of my communities and it's not an easy gig...I can't imagine running a community as large and wide as WF...much respect to Paul for keeping it clean for so many years.

    Seriously!

Thanks for the add. I will mention (as others have) that post count, thanks, and all that don't mean everything. Sure, the AVERAGE person with 1000 posts probably knows a bit more than the AVERAGE person with 10 posts. BUT, of course there are some warriors with 2 posts and no thanks that are more knowledge than many of the big posters...so it's certainly not the only deciding factor.

I personally have a lot of posts and thanks. Much of my initial learning in IM came from right here in WF and many very generous warriors helped me out many times, many years ago and for that I am eternally grateful.

I try my best to be active here as a small gesture of appreciation...though the last year or more I've been a bit less active...I still try my best to pop in at least once or twice a week.

This is a great forum with many helpful and big names in internet entrepreneurship but I also urge you to check out the blogs of the marketing legends in our industry. The marketers who have been around for a decade are surefire bets to follow...much more credible than the number of posts or thanks people have on this forum.

Good luck on your journey buddy!!

I see you have already got some good recommendations but you really shouldn't judge other members by their post count and thanks.

Having a high post count doesn't mean one is successful and having a lot of thanks doesn't really mean anything either. For example funny people normally get more thanks than others but that doesn't mean they're more successful.

Lastly there really is no way to know exactly how much money someone else is making.

    Experience is the best teacher.

      Here's one other thought.

Did it every occur to you that some of the highest earners here on the Warrior Forum may be folks that have little time for posting, or that don't desire to participate in community discussions?

I think many would be surprised at some of the very big name - famous - well recognized people that are Warrior Forum members but don't choose to post very often.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

Just like others who have commented post count doesn't mean much.

And it's something you should be careful with.

If you're goin to look at someone's post count, pay attention to their start date a well.

It's one thing to see someone who has joined in say 2006 and has 2,000 posts and a then you see another person who also has a post count of 2,000 and they joined in July 2012.

In that situation you have to ask yourself if someone is posting 5 times a day on average over a 1 year period then what time do they have to work on their business.

My point is you'd need to do more research on someone than just their post count.
