Clickbank Vs. Plimus - Head to Head Split Test?

Has anyone tested this?

What were the results? Both in sales conversions and % of refunds?

I suspect Plimus will carry a lower refund rate.

It seems many are almost conditioned to refund a Clickbank order.

Plimus, with a most customizable order page I suspect their order page will convert higher too...

We are still at the optimization stage, and haven't opened the doors to affiliates yet. So "payment leak" is not an issue.

To avoid payment leak, just buy another domain, and sell it separately. This is becoming more common for front end lead generation as well. A company, say a dental office, might have 5 or 6 domains that are squeeze pages that remain consistent with the advertising medium, with a follow-up campaign that is tweaked to the freebie as well.

As far as sales conversions go, usually a custom order page is going to be your best bet. PayGear also has this option, plus several other options that are appealing to me, so I'll be testing them in the upcoming month. Refunds-wise, I'm not sure that has anything to do with the payment processor per se.

Finally, I'm not sure how true the following statement is, because I don't sell CB products in these niches, but the general consensus I've noticed is this: That Clickbank is great for niches outside of MMO or IM, because "normal" niches, with customers who aren't marketing savvy, have a reduced likelihood of replacing your CBID with theirs. Makes sense to me.

Is that even a conversation? If we must, God, simple answer, ANYTHING is better than Plimus!! Their platform is faulty, their staff blows, and are stuck resetting my password most of the time I try to log in. I won't buy anything sold on Plimus and I buy a lot of stuff because I don't like getting calls to confirm order, wtf...

Clickbank is like the de-facto primo since they handle everything for you. Their rates are a bit high but is very well worth it. Has a masty resputation for serial refunders but when your product is good, no need to worry.

I'd also recommend zaxaa, it's new, it's like PayPal but on steroids but do not know if they handle the taxation stuff like CB does.

    Hope this helps

That's a good reason to avoid Plimus in my book, according to what The Gold Trader says. Clickbank is good, they pay on time, have a good number of affiliates.

As for other options, JVZoo and PayGear are both free to sign up, and you can do instant commissions. From what I hear PayGear has better support and features, but I use JVZoo and so far it's been good to me.
