Ideas for a new Domain Name / Interview Show / Podcast?

I started a personal blog for internet marketing a year or so ago under my name. John-Shea.net - Interviews with Online Marketers & Bloggers

Originally I blogged about random topics related to IM as I learned but eventually decided to start my own Podcast and Interview show. I call my show 'The Testimonial Technique' but have had a lot of feedback about the name not making sense, confusion and having the hyphen in my domain name sounds bad when saying it over the show.

"Go over to John - j-o-h-n hyphen shea s-h-e-a dot net" It just sounds bad. So I've been trying to brainstorm a new name and have been using various domain name generators with no real winner.

Was hoping some warriors might come up with some interesting names for a total re-branding. I would like to use a name I can match with general internet marketing (Think interviews with WSO sellers and product creators or folks who have knowledge on various IM topics). I would also like to use the same name or a slight spin off for my Podcast.

Example:
SmartPassiveIncome.com
The Smart Passive Income Podcast

Here are some keywords I've been brainstorming with:
marketing
inspire
inspired
impact
im (for internet marketing, lots of combo's here)
engage
ice
iced
innovate
voices
blog
edge

There are others but these have been some of the common ones.

I'm not the most creative person with stuff like this, but have you tried a thesaurus? --> Thesaurus.com | Find Synonyms and Antonyms of Words at Thesaurus.com

Sometimes the answer is really obvious, but you need to see it...

Yup I've been on there quite a bit the last week, just finding the right combo and getting enough positive feedback has been my dilemma. A lot of people liked 'voicestravel' but it sort of sounds more like a travel blog and not an interview show.

Yea that seemed pretty obvious but I figured I'd mention it...

If your not the decisive type you may have to go with out any outside feedback... No matter what you come up with there will always be a few nay-sayers... I would pick something that I like, and that makes sense, and stick to it regardless of the reception from others...

This is probably one of the most painful things to decide on in my experience. But the time you invest is well worth it in my opinion, as long as you're long-term focused.

For short term projects, screw it. But for something you're going to stick with for at least a couple years or longer, especially to represent "you", I think it makes a huge difference.

Even if you have "multiple front-ends" promoting your site, and a new domain name for each front-end, it's still good to have a site on the "end of the tail" so to speak that is somewhat brandable.

I just went through this process and it took about 5 days of focused energy for about an hour a day. Just sit down with a blank sheet of paper and go through your options.

There's no getting around it unfortunately. The main problem is finding something that isn't taken so it's good to brainstorm a lot. Just consider what your "umbrella" idea is and get to scribbling.

Shoot for something that sounds good short-term so it has impact, and as clear as possible "meaning" that represents the core of your site, but can be built upon for staying power.

By the way, in the end, you will probably reinvent yourself a couple times before you really find your groove. It's just natural. So I would definitely put a deadline on this. It's not the most important thing.
