Email Marketing services?

Has anybody ever successfully used an email marketing service to introduce a product/ebook? I am trying to decide if this method is worth the investment.

    I've no idea what you mean? Could you expand! Do you mean someone that sends emails to 100 million people? Do you mean buying co-reg leads? Or building your own list?

      Thanks for the reply. I actually mean both, should I buy leads and/or should I use a company to initiate an email campaign. My site has a free report available to build a list. I am curious as to the success of buying leads which I am skeptical about as well as email services...

    In my opinion building your own list may take more time and effort, but it will pay off in the long run.
