Warrior Forum Writers; here is a service i'd pay for!

I think there is an opportunity out there for the great writers here on the forum to offer a service where you are given a topic and you create the books outline.

the chapter headings and subheadings...

makes the people out there like me that have alot of offer be able to work within some out of guideline (fill in the blanks style), which while i'd obviously modifying it as i went along, would go a long way from starting with a blank sheet of paper.

anyone ever try doing an "outline for hire"?

    But try this...

    Head over to amazon.com, and
    check out some books in the niche
    you're working in.

    You'll find that many of them have
    the look inside feature.

    And if they do, it means you
    get to see the contents pages.

    You can get some great ideas for
    your own books from looking at
    contents pages like that.

    That's a great tip.

    That's exactly what I am talking about... paying someone else to do that exact thing and create one for a specific project.

    of course i can hire someone on elance to do something like that... but i think its a niche someone can specialize in and offer a successful service here on the forum.

      I'm just not sure that Imers are willing to pay the price. It would take me 3 to 4 days to put together a comprehensive chapter outline on a subject that I know. Most Internet Marketers figure the entire book could have been ghostwritten in that same amount of time.

      Seriously we have warriors that will write ebooks for $3.50 a 200 word page. A 5000 word outline would cost - what - $100.00?

      This gets back to the old argument is a $50.00 article better than $5.00 article. Personally I've stopped writing even the $50.00 articles. I can make more money with my writing in other ways.

      Here's the deal. I would charge $50.00 an hour, with a minimum of 20 hours to write a chapter-by-chapter book outline. Each chapter would have a 200 word (more or less) description, and a maximum of 20 chapters. 50% of the fee would be paid upfront and is nonrefundable. 50% when the outline is finished. The fee could be more than the 20 hours dependent on the topic and how indepth the outline would be. The total fee would be agreed to before we started.

      I'm not putting you on the spot, Izzy, but what Warrior would think the outline is worth that amount of money?

        I actually attempted my first outsoruce with this exact same project.. Still haven't found someone to do it, basically I wanted them to create me an ebook temaplted based on what I wanted to do..

        I guess I'll have to give it another go, as I'm failing to make it how I want it.

          thanks for your detailed reply.

          That cost is prohibitive for most ebook projects. For a hard copy book being written, it might pay for subject experts that have alot of "meat" on a subject, but are not good at compartmentalizing that information.

          Then again, having a book with "Table of Contents by Nationally Recognized Author Dee Power" Might just sell enough product to make it pay....
