Should I Cold Call To US Or UK

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi Guys,

I am an offliner living in India and I do websites and SEO for businesses.

I am planning on how to get clients from developed countries because they can benefit the most from IM and also have nice budget.

I will be using cold calling as my main strategy for client acquisition, but I am confused about whether I should dial to UK or US.

Dialing to UK is more convenient to me because the time difference is just 5 hours, but for US I will need to work at late night as India is almost 9 hours ahead of US.

Need your opinion.

Try both and see what works best.

Who are you cold calling? Are you just going through the phone books or will you be targeting people / businesses in your niche?

Awesome bro. That's got to be a good market. There's so many ugly looking sites out there. Especially cool that you're really specializing.

I agree. There are so many websites out there that need to be changed. What you're specializing is really a great idea. The only way you'll find out which is a better market between US and UK is to try them both. Just hire a few people who are willing on a night shift so you have people for cold calling to U.S.

How do I build a list of people interested in webdesign, most of the offline businesses are not that tech savy.

Besides I have yet to see a webdesigner selling IM services to offline businesses successfully by building a list, most of the success stories are either about cold calling or going face to face.

I once thought about giving a free squeeze page to subscribers, but the thing is attracting targeted organic traffic as an IM service provider is too difficult, competition is really stiff.

That is why I think by calling them I can get real time feedback, and can clear their doubts then and their.

  Calling them can turn them on too! have you tried hiring a telemarketer who can call them on your order? It will be lot easier than calling them yourself. I heard some people on Elance provide telemarketing to their list for good bucks, You might want to try your hands there, Dig dipper and they'll come out.

That's a great idea,I would say you do both and work on your time plan to accommodate both countries.
Also you can consider outsourcing telemarketers to help do the calling part of it.
It will help a great deal.
