Hey Warriors,

If you were going to create a few free WSOs on different topics of IM to build your list would you :

1) Separate the lists by topic and create completely different follow up sequences?

2) Add them all to one list?

#1 sounds like the right choice, but that means a ton of emails. Any input is much appreciated!

Thanks ahead of time,
Anoosh Kashefi

Well, I better start creating some emails. Thanks for the input Anton!

  • I won't tell you what I would do, but I will tell you what I wouldn't do.
What I wouldn't do, is post a question that relates to moving forward in my business,
and then make a business move based on just one answer received from one person whom I don't know.

I would do the same thing as the first poster told you to do; put them on two separate lists with different email sequences, etc.

Also, don't forget to try different email sequences with both lists once you move forward and you have the two separate lists.

Such as one list may like getting direct email promotions where to as the other likes to be more well informed. That will also depend on the topic and such.

Sorry I may have went a bit off on a tangent, but was just giving some more advice once you get those two separate lists

      Cheers

In my opinion, subscribers can still be very responsive if they are in the right category. For example, the make money online category can get very broad, but a lot of people are just fine with learning all kinds of methods to make money online - multiple income streams, beginners who are looking for a way in, etc. So I think one could work depending on the category.

I would indeed create different lists too because otherwise you at times lose quite a lot of power and aren't able to perfectly target the audience. Which means you're not taking care of your list, in simple words.

Option 1 is the right thing to do. You always have to keep in mind the interests of your lists. You can't mix the subscribers of different categories.
