WSO vs Squeeze page - What are you guys promoting on here?

Yeah what's the deal? I'm promoting a squeeze page to build a list but am considering setting up a WSO.

Any comments from you hardcore dudes out there. What's the most profitable option?

Set a WSO and after people purchase, they need to subscribe to your newsletter to receive their download links. Double win.

You don't have an option for "nothing". There's a healthy percentage of members on WF who are not touting anything.

A WSO and squeeze page can be one in the same thing. The WSO forum is just a place for you to advertise your free or paid products. That could be a salespage or a squeeze page.

Most people prefer to sell things rather than give them away because it's very hard to find people to promote your product when it's free. The list you build from people who buy is also usually better quality than one built by giving away free stuff.

As I always say to questions like this. Why must it be one or the other? Do both. You should have squeeze pages out there collecting you new leads each day and you should have products out there selling and making you money each day.

I very much agree with Will here.

One strategy that's worth trying is to start with a quality free WSO to creat a list of (hopefully) raving fans. Then do a paid WSO and get some review copies out to your fans. They will then leave testimonials which will help your paid WSO get off the ground. There's more to it, of course, but that's it in a nutshell.

Of course, from your paid WSO you will gain a list of buyers, which is infinitely more valuable than a list of freebie seekers.

I hope that helps a bit

Currently promoting my free newsletter to help people who are struggling or beginners in the internet marketing/make money online niche.

Also creating my first WSO at the moment which is a really exciting process!
