Business.com Pay per Click?

For many years I have been advertising with Google, Bing, Yahoo and various others from time to time. However, lately I have been trying new sources of traffic, such as Business.com and their PPC program.
First, they do not give you any controls whatsoever. No schedule is possible, no geographic, no competitive bidding, they don't even let you know how many searches there are, or what anyone else is bidding. There is no way to know what position you are in.
The DO send you a buttload of traffic, pretty cheaply. (their lowest bid amount is .40 cents and that is what I put in). So for a few days now, I turn it on at 9 or 10 in the morning, then turn it back off at 2 or 3 pm.
During those few hours, they send me 700 to 800 visitors. When I look at my Web Stats, I see that they are logged as being from business.com, they list unique IP addresses, they are from all points of the country, they all list different Broadband Provider companies, and most of these visitors visit several pages while they are there (so the bounce rate is really low).
However, I never get any calls, emails or conversions from this traffic. It's a buttload of traffic, more than we have ever received, but it just doesn't seem to turn into any inquiries or sales. (we are a 20 year old manufacturer of security equipment). How can that many people visit, and linger a while, and not have any inquiries or interest? Fishy.
I feel like I am being scammed, but I can't prove it from the stats. Google traffic is a lot more expensive (many keywords cost between $20 and $30 per click), but some of their stuff results in sales.
Has anyone here ever had any luck using Business.com?
Did the traffic convert?
Did you totally waste your money?
I can't find anything related to Business.com PPC on this Forum or any other (exceot for a few paid shills), and this seems strange to me as well.
Stumped!

OK, so no replies so far. I'm guessing that nobody has any experience with using Business.com Pay per Click?

    Personally haven't used it.

Do you have any Analytics/tracking software on your site? Is it not possible to track the IP addresses?

Yes, I can track everything. That's how I knew all of the information that I talked about in the original post.
