For Amazon affiliates

Hi,

When I find a decent product, and search the product name e.g Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Rewind Upright Vacuum just at random.

It comes up with quite a few other shops/stores selling the product.

How do you rank for these as ecommerce always come at the top?

It is much harder today to rank over big box retail stores. Google likes to go directly to the merchant over the affiliate.
So you my have to consider using other traffic means or selecting products you can compete for.
Another option would be just to answer all kinds of questions etc about it in your reviews and hope to get ranked for the low competition phrases and get enough traffic from them.

I've been having success with review type keywords like"Top 5 Best HEPA Vacuums" - depending on what keyword research leads me towards.

I had a bunch of pages with product names on them and they've sunk into oblivion.
