1 months amazon clicks in 1 day?!

hey

my site (see footer) has amazon links - has been slowly growing, but today i noticed that click numbers i would normally see in a month came in 1 day!!!!

is someone trying to get my account banned or something?! seems way too many be natural!!

    ps, google analytics traffic doesnt show a corresponding increase in visits.. puzzled

    made a sale tho !

      That wouldn't get your site banned with Amazon. They don't pay by clicks or by visits, just by purchases. Also, it takes a day for traffic to show up in Analytics.

      Probably what happened is that someone posted a page of your site to a social bookmarking site. This can result in a spurt of traffic and it's great. Even after the initial spurt has died off you will be getting a bit more traffic than before.

    thanks...lets hope its a good spurt!! actually works out almost 2 months equivelant in 1 day.
    no show on adsense, or FB likes or analytics tho. maby they will update or maby its something else...will see tmr i guess

    I suggest you take your link to your website off. There are people here who scrape sites, and your work will end up in the hands of other people.

    It could also be bots, as to why you got so many click throughs. Especially true if you get a lot of clicks and no sales.

    could be bots as i have had more bot/fake signups lately - assume this is just so they can post comments,but im using FB comments so no real harm in them right??

    i have have a few more sales, so maby they are spending robots!

    nothing really i can do against scrapers but they can scrape my inbuilt affiliate links too...?!
