Blog advertising money losses you might face with

Many of us use specific software or at least free browser plugins like Ad Block Plus for safe web surfing because we hate to dig our way through tons of pestering ads on the internet. At the same time there are good bloggers online who provide their readers with extremely awesome content and don't stuff their blogs with excessive noisy spammy banner ads to make people sick with their eyes bleeding. They put mild ads in their sidebar to sponsor their hard work but not all visitors see them. Ad blockers erase most types of banners from sites. Bloggers lose a lot of money due to this happening. Lots and lots of their visitors don't even know they have ads in sidebars.

I come across popular blogs that sell ad spots in their sidebars, headers, footers, etc for $100, $250, $500 to even $1000 per month. People actively pay them this cash to put their banners in rented spaces. But if I come to read those blogs with my Ad Block plugin enabled I don't see any banners. Marketers pay 500 bucks per month to make me and you have a look at their offers but we can't see them if we prefer to use ad blockers. Shock? You're a marketer too, do you keep this fact in mind? Do you make sure your ads are not vulnerable to blockers? Why am I asking? Because I see many marketers don't care losing money and potential customers this way.

You can't really make people disable their ad blockers, so to speak. But that doesn't mean you should give up on buying ad spaces though. What you should be doing is testing, testing & more testing, because if you have a successful campaign, why worry about the people who can't see it?

I'm not giving up, I just publish ads as images resistant to blockers and test them, if they're still blocked for some reason I immediately contact the blog owner explaining the problem and ask to fix it. In this thread I want to warn people of this problem, what if they're using this form of advertising and lose money.
