Am I spinning my wheels

Sometimes I feel like every time I learn of a good online marketing strategy or want to start a good blog, it feels like it's all already done and far better than I could do it..

do you guys feel that way sometimes?

Nope. I just make things better than they already are.

Just do the best you can every time! There is always someone doing something better than someone else! I had what I consider my first real success today and it's because I didn't let that feeling get to me. I learned something new and applied it! That feeling will creep up on you and stop you from doing things! Your "best" means always improving and getting better at what you're doing! Here is a quote that was a lifesaver for me:

"Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly--until you can learn to do it well!" -Zig Ziglar

I hope that helps you! Good luck!

There's a lot of way around it, first you can do a better than job than them in things like customer service, pricing or other factors.

And don't worry too much about what other people do, worry about what you're doing. You also can't comapre yourslef to others as some of them have been in the business for a very long time. Just work on it, learn from it and eventually new ideas will pop out..you also will start doing things much better.

    Good Luck

No. Found one strategy and I stuck with until I became an expert.

        No, not really.

If you have that mindset, you won't ever get started and end up accomplishing nothing.

You need to just change your mindset to that of the children's story The Little Engine That Could. You have to believe you can and then no matter what mountains you have to get over, you have to keep chugging away thinking, I think I can, I think I can" until you find your self on the pinnacle, smiling at your achievement and start celebrating singing, "I thought I could, I thought I could".

Just stick to your plans mate. Don't put all your bread crumbs in a silver platter. Focus on one strategy first till you finally master it, and go to the next one and so on (rinse and repeat). Once you mastered all of them, you can finally combine them at your own time to become even more successful than ever.

Unless you are in an incredibly tiny niche, it's impossible for anyone to
reach the majority of potential customers.

At the same time, if you differentiate your product properly, which
could be something as simple as you providing better customer service,
or faster delivery, or more value, you have no real competitors. Be careful
not to compete on the basis of price. I'd be more inclined to price my
product higher, than to try to be the cheapest.

If you honestly can't see how to carve off a corner of the bigger niche,
then perhaps you need to focus on a bigger niche.

Having others doing the same thing is good though. It proves that it's
something others have already figured out how to make profitable. Study
exactly what they are doing, and then introduce your own little twists.

An original idea is not always the best thing.

If something doesn't exist, there is often a reason for that...It just isn't a good or profitable idea.

Better stick to something that already exists and do it better, and if you feel that you can't do it better, just do it different, do it your way.

I do basically the same with marketing methods. I get ideas from various methods that work and create something new that works better.

Sure, I've certainly felt that way in the past. The thing is, when you feel that your wheels are spinning don't allow yourself to become obsessed in trying to reinvent the wheel. Rather, look for ways to give your 'wheels' traction.

You say that you think things have been already done and far better than you could do it. Well, there's one thing that no-one else can do better than you and that is be YOU! Put yourself into what you do. Even if an idea already exists look for a way to put a unique spin on it. The most unique thing that you have in your possession is yourself.

Even if your wheels are spinning temporarily they can be freed and even spinning is movement. The sure way to get nowhere is to stop.

Stick with it and don't give up.
