Kunaki doesn't like me :(

I've been trying to get Kunaki to work/install on my computer and I get this error that says it can't get the necessary components.

I disabled & even uninstalled McAfee and Windows firewall and virus protection. I even looked for some Kunaki .dll file to delete, per their support email, and I don't have it.

Has anyone else run into this and overcome it? It works on my hubby's laptop, but his runs SO slow and doesn't have all the programs on his. Plus, I want it to work on MY ThinkPad.

Can anyone help??:confused::confused::confused:

    I'm having real problems with Kunaki as well. I've created the file to upload, but every time I try to upload it fails, usually after 18-24 hours!

    All that Kunaki have suggested is to try another computer, which I've done without success. Anyone any ideas?

    When I contacted their "customer support" (and I use that loosely...but they're upfront with that), they told me that there's something wrong with my computer.

    UGH!!

    I feel your frustrations with the upload. Gosh, after investing that much time, for it to then fail! Sheesh!

    Maybe some techno guru can help us.

      Doesn't seem to be a viable alternative to Kunaki's prices but this is sooo frustrating and yes, there customer service isn't very helpful.

    Did you ever get any help on Kunaki? We're going to be taking the laptops to a local repair shop to see if we can get this mess figured out.

      Just an update...

      I got it to work, finally. I took it to the repair shop and they couldn't figure out what was going on so they just created a new user, even split up all my files (renaming them from "My Documents" to "Susan's Documents") and THEN it worked.

      I don't know what it was that caused the big mess. It was literally working one day and not the next.

      Another highly recommended site is vervante.com. I think they are comparable price-wise and their service is great. Worth checking out.
