How to start a linkedin group?

Could someone tell me how to start a linkedin group? I have looked all over linkedin for something that says 'start group' or something similar. Can't find anything.

I would also like to know if you are supposed to put some kind of content there, or just start it, and than start making invitations?

    It's simple. Click on groups once logged on. Last option is 'create group'. Linkedin then talks you through the options for your group.
    No content needed in the group. Yes you can invite people to join your group. The hard part is getting enough members of your group so that you get some activity.
